Yeah, that was weak sauce, low energy nickname, besides, Nancy already cornered that label. Trump was too lazy to come up with something better.

If Liz runs for POTUS, can you imagine the sh@it she will hang on tRump on the debate stage? She will call him a felon, unindicted or indicted, and call him out on dozens of other things, fearless of a defamation suit or hurting her career.

The Fat F@uck might end up with a paralyzed left side before he leaves the stage.

Thus is what I've thought.
But it was interesting listening a a guest on TV last night say flatly that she wouldn't win the gop primary.
And he had no doubt about it.

And I was thinking it would be great theater to watch her take him out, but you know, he won't even debate like we're used to.

He already got the gop to opt out of the face off presidential gop vs dem debates. Like, holy shut, that's nuts. But the party decided against it.

So, he'll just have his rallies on the side and will never even face her.

I tell ya, people who vote for him suck!!

The thinking is, if there are 10 gop candidates, 9 of the get 8% of the vote each and he gets 28% and wins 100% of the ticket.

Would be better if all the anti-trump crowd could decide on 1 single candidate.

Of course she can't win, but she can give tRump a stroke. Bullies are major p@ussies. Tulsi should marry tRump. Boris and Natasha.

Trump would destroy her just like he destroyed Jed Bush by focusing on Iraq and the big lies of his family, culminating when Jeb whined about him attacking his mother, " she should have run."

Liz Cheney is the Biden Republican neocon candidate a la McCain, Graham, Bush. A vestige of the past.

Trump is funny and his nicknames- Little Marco, Pocahontas, Crooked Hillary, Low Energy Jeb- are not only savage but right on the mark. I hope Liz does advance to the debate stage as she would no doubt have a doozy of a sobriquet and I look forward to her spirited defense of torture

Somehow I think she's WAY more ready to shove a long sharp stick up with pie hole than Jed was. I would think she could crush him and he'd have a hard time insulting her.
But I don't expect he'd ever take the debate stage again.

Lots of fun nickname possibilities but we all know Trump is lazy and will call her Lyin Liz.

She should go with Lion Liz and just own it.

I love it.

I have never defended her politics. She has balls. tRump is a coward. She is his worse fear and the focus of his intense hatred, a strong woman.

Hillary was afraid of him. Cheney isn't. If he is still alive, his reaction will be a classic.

Agreed!

They will, but it won't be Little Miss Torture, she's completely spent as a GOP candidate. Nikki Haley is the more presentable RINOish upscale suburban warmonger, and she's minority-ish to boot. The RINOs will all rally behind either her or Pence early on, and hope for Trump and DeSantis to split the populist vote.

That's the only path that a RINO will have to the nom. That candidate will get the tacit endorsement of Fox, but would still get clobbered head to head with either Trump or DeSantis.

You suggest that Carville is wrong?
You think the current Trump GOP makes any sense at all?

Oh, please do expand on that then, because I think he's right.

Don't respond with just ripping on him, but tell me how the election was stolen, tell me how Jan 6 was no big deal and how Trump is not responsible for it.
Tell me how Trump's Zelensky snd Raffensburg phone calls were no big deal.
Tell me how he's not an ass hole when he rips on gold star families, immigrants, and signals to proud boys and the good people on "both sides" in Charlottesville.
I'll stop there.

Can you provide sane descriptions?

How impressed are you guys with the level of intelligence of 79yo Biden, who can't read a teleprompter and needs cue cards to perform basic tasks 10yo would have no problem doing, and that of Kamala, or Pelosi?

There are no Gary Harts, Bill Bradleys, Pat Leahys, Tom Daschles any more within the ranks of Dem leadership, these were all respectable, smart, principled politicians, who would have made fine presidents.

The political leadership process has broken down, and people like Carville and Reich are too out of touch to even notice this.

-Trump is the result of the breakdown in the American political process.

-The Reps have problems on their own, traditionally beholden to big business, the MIC/Endless War, but here again, Trump was the result, representing a populist movement that reflects the economic decline of the middle and working classes, esp in the industrial base.

He might be an *******, a blowhard from Queens with significant issues, but a significant segment of Americans feels he represents their interests better than the current incarnation of the Dem party or the Rep establishment.

The Democrats today are the love child of woke ideology and the worst aspects of corporate interests.

LOL if anyone thinks that Trump represents some sort of economic break from the GOP. He's popular because he focuses on grievance culture. His 2024 campaign will be based on vengeance and the deplorables will lap it up. He's long since stopped pretending to care about the financial position of his base. Biden and the democrats have done far more to help working class people financially through the legislation they've passed in the last year and a half. The GOP doesn't even have a policy platform anymore - it's just grievance culture.

Can you please just come out and say it:

"Trump should never had been president.
Trump should never again be president."

Never mind why/how he got there.
Never mind what's wrong with the GOP or the Dem Party.

Just say it and let's see if we can start with a basic truth foundation.

The earth is round.
Gravity is real.
Trump is a scoundrel.

Can you say that?

If so, then we can discuss more interesting things like what policies we espouse.

Didn't Gary Hart's career tank because the GOP used to pretend it cared about philandering? Once the evangelicals stopped pretending to care about the integrity of their allies in the forced birth movement, this problem self-resolved. Trump is probably more popular with his base because he brags about his infidelity.
