Gee, it's almost like they have no idea that "country" music has its roots in "black" music and one of the trends in country music is to add elements of hip hop to country songs. I mean it's almost like they don't know when they culturally appropriate and instead of seeing all art is collaborative, they want to stake out areas of white nationalism and pick culture war fights for no reason other than to invent conflict and vent spleen. One could almost say it's irrational and emotional...but wait, conservatives say that Liberals decide issues by emotion and are all about identity. I'm so confused.

The root of just about all American popular music (the most popular in the world) is some fusion of traditionally "black" and "white" (usually country/hillbilly) musical styles. It's silly to complain about this.

(The real problem in the past is that white artists/studios would just take stuff written by black artists and not credit or pay them for it. That doesn't really happen anymore.)

We'd then have fun laughing about him crushing our hands in a 'how long can you take it' handshake greeting.
