First, the event was not "approved" by the school board. It was posted by a third party to a listserv and explicitly stated on the message that such events were not endorsed by the district:

Nothing is hidden from the parents, it's a public thing. There is zero evidence of physical or sexual violence. How was anyone groomed by this? Just having gay-themed stuff is not grooming.
