Episode #3 of 10 was released yesterday.
I'm pretty sure he's fingering the CIA.
He is adamantly saying it was not Oswald as lone gunman, that it was a conspiracy. The advert says he names names, so I'll follow through.

…It's definitely more intriguing than this goddam Clise Encounters of the Fifth Kind documentary my mom wanted to watch on Thanksgiving. Good God! I'm getting an education in senior citizen senility.

I'm interested in the topic (of course) but not Reiner, a blowhard nutter.

The recent documentary with the JFK doctors is meaningful. They claim they saw front entrance wounds and rear exit wounds. 7 doctors all experienced and no reason to lie. It prompted me to revisit the autopsy photos and findings of the 3 separate government inquiries, which say the opposite. It's a conundrum.

After listening to two podcasts, I decided that we were supposed to believe that Oswald acted alone in killing Kennedy, and Ruby acted alone in killing Oswald.

Yeah, no. I don't believe it was that simple.

Also, multiple witnesses died before they could testify. Hmmm.

You should listen to all the available episodes of this podcast. I was initially skeptical when I heard Reiner was behind it. But it's full of pretty factual, not theorizing, information. My two cents.

When it's over, name the culprits, please. I saw Mark Lane at Dwinelle when I was a student at Cal in the 70's.

I just got through listening to all the episodes this morning. The CIA was behind all of it but it is very involved. Amazingly, even with all the groups and people allegedly involved, Reiner and O'Brien do a very good job laying it all out over the course of many short podcast episodes. I can't recommend it highly enough if your interested. But you definitely have to make the effort to pay attention. There are many players in this plot as to be expected with something as involved as assassinating the president. I'll be shocked if anyone comes away from this podcast thinking Oswald killed JFK let alone did it by himself.

The podcast claims CIA officer Bill Harvey was the "strategist" and former U.S. Army chief intelligence officer Charles Willoughby was the "tactician" who then tapped the Mafia and Cuban exiles to line up the assassins.

The podcast claims there were four shooters in Dallas on Nov. 22.

"There was definitely a shooter on the sixth floor of the schoolbook depository building.

*Jack Canon, who as a lieutenant colonel had worked under Gen. Willoughby, chief of intelligence for Gen. Douglas McArthur during World War II and the Korean War.

The podcast said the plot likely was "compartmentalized," with those involved being instructed on a "need-to-know basis." Thus, each shooter probably didn't know about the others.

The podcast's last episode begins with Dick Russell, a former reporter for The Village Voice, explaining that in 1975 he received an anonymous letter from someone calling himself "The Brooklyn Waiter." The letter claimed that Adolph Tscheppe-Weidenbach was the "mastermind of the JFK assassination."

Years later, while working on a book of the assassination, Russell learned that Willoughby was born Adolf Tscheppe-Weidenbach.

Thanks Tom. Yours is a much more detailed summation. As you can probably tell from this summary there are a lot of moving parts to this. Reiner does a great job at also providing eye witness testimony and expert testimony in explaining how something like this could be carried out and covered up. It is absolutely fascinating.

I'll say this, Reiner's case was way drawn out AND also summed up sloppily/quickly in the end.

Maybe the answers to my questions are in the 10 parts, but it was poorly executed.

4 shooters?
Multiple locations?
My god, how did they all fire Al the same moment if they didn't know about each other?
Where are all the bullets?
What about all the angle analysis we've heard endlessly?
How were people hiding in these additional would-be locations?

I looked at Google maps of the locations, yeah, I get it, a shooting gallery in an open top car. But tell me about these buildings in detail!!!! How could shooters be positioned behind the grassy knoll and on the overpass with nobody seeing?

Who selected the parade route?

As I said before, I don't believe it was Only 1 guy who just decided on his own to shoot jfk
And I don't believe it was only 1 guy who decided to silence the would be assassin who said "I'm just a patsy".

Well, if you listened to the podcast you'd know that Reiner also implicates the head of the Warren Commission, Dulles, who must have been aware of the plot within the CIA.
The plot was developed and designed for assassination of (I forget) and some within the agency modified it to JFK.

Dulles didn't want to expose his own knowledge and nobody wanted to implicate anything from within because the. The USA is sitting on a coup d'etat. Better to bury and move on.

4th grade at St. Paschal's in Oakland.

The janitor opened the classroom door and in the delicate, non triggering, safe space preserving manner used to serve up traumatic news to 9 year olds in 1963, he said in a loud voice, "THE PRESIDENT HAS JUST BEEN SHOT!"

Sister Vincentia, the Principal, closed the school and sent us home. I lived a mile from school and as I was walking home with buddies we opined that the Russians whacked JFK and that we might get incinerated in a nuclear war in a couple of days. We had the same discussion about the Cuban Missile Crisis a year earlier and also concluded then that we would be Post Toasties soon.

How did it come to be that 9 year olds were having discussions like this? We all had older siblings and at discussions around the dinner table nothing was filtered and you heard all the "big people" theories on everything.

I was in 7th grade at montera jhs in Montclair when Mr Peterson, math began class by saying very slow and soberly that President Reagan had been shot.
Mike Flanagan in the rear suddenly yells excitedly "YES!"

Mr Peterson immediately castigated him rapidly and angrily. It was a real chewing out as Peterson tried to do the opposite as your janitor, but then lost it.
Mike slunk in his chair in shame.

In the mid 70's we visited my moms sister in Dallas and she gave us the Dealey Plaza tour. That was first I recall. Back at the house I was asking my cousins about it and I remember David (the wacko Trumpist I'm always posting about) saying "oh, yeah, his brain was all on the trunk of the car and his wife was climbing back there to grab it before it fell off."
My mouth was wide open like "whaaaaat?"

Thank goodness for zapruder!!! None of these theories would be possible without him. Otherwise, it would just be Trump saying "I won!"
