I bought this album after seeing Frampton's Camel as a warm up band for Johnny Winter at Winterland in 1973. His songs that never became hits were among his best, like this one. I always thought it was a pretty solid song:

If I'm limited to those choices I'm going with:

…but if I'm calling the shots I'm going with the Kind of Blue album personnel:

Miles Davis trumpet

Julian "Cannonball" Adderley alto saxophone

John Coltrane tenor saxophone

Bill Evans piano

Wynton Kelly piano

Paul Chambers double bass

Jimmy Cobb drums

In Rock in the late 1960's and early 1970's they had a name for such an assemblage: Supergroup

Blind Faith being a prime example of one.

^Early Traffic/Winwood is great.

Staying in the period - these guys are still touring, they did recently a good presentation of their best album

I got turned on to Cream and Traffic as a young teenager listening the the earliest days of underground FM on my transistor radio (1967). KMPX and later KSAN. Sunshine of Your Love was also played endlessly on Top 40 AM KYA in 1967. Both bands played Winterland but I was too young to go.

Two good compilations:

Every band performance held at Winterland below. I attended many in the 1972-1976 window

*It's mind blowing when you consider the legendary acts that played in that 5400 capacity venue….with the pot smoke overwhelming.

I am a few years younger than you, but KSAN was the station of choice starting around 1973. Didn't get to a concert until 1975, Concord, Firefall, Sons of Champlin, and Leon & Mary Russell. It was quite the introduction!

The song would have been perfect if it was renamed Bitcoin and B*tches.

"I'd come in early and listen to John during his set, and he'd be playing so beautifully in his style that he inspired me to push myself all that much harder when it was my turn to play. There was no cutting contest involved, though some critics and fans might have thought so. I was really pleased that the audience could dig both of us, two different tenor styles, because that's what music is all about - a lot of guys saying different things their own way, and saying something worth listening to."

"OVNI" is french for UFO, that tune is from the excellent retro soundtrack of a new TV show set in 1978 about the search for evidence of paranormal and extraterrestrial life in France, done in the style of a french Wes Anderson.

Going a bit further back in time to the sweet spot of the late 60s:

* Saw them in 1974 on the bill with Steve Miller Band at Winterland. They killed it.

That song was on the Surrealistic Pillow album in 1967. I was in 7th grade. There was no one that didn't dig that.

Trivia: Band members Paul Kantner and Jorma Kaukonen both attended University of Santa Clara for a spell in the early 1960's.
