Just like we have new postgame football and basketball game threads, I am creating this one.

BIGGEST LOSER: TRUMP
BIGGEST WINNER: BRAGG

How it read out on MSNBC by Ari Melber, Live:

This verdict virtually insures the election of Donald Trump as President in November. All the MAGA folks are celebrating this afternoon. As Jonathan Turley, a Democrat and Professor of Law at George Washington University said after the verdict, this is a travesty of justice and a sad day for our country and our legal system. We have become a third world country that has no respect for the rule of law.

I've always said I'd never move to a banana republic. Turns out I didn't need to move; the US has become a banana republic replete with kangaroo courts. What a sad day in America.

Now that he's a convicted felon, that's one less vote for Trump.

Alternatively, you can respond to any number of the 4000 emails sent to you from Trump so you can donate your life savings for his "criminal appeal" (though Trump's plans may have just changed, as he boards his private jet destined for some far away remote island stocked with 72 virgins for his earthly reward.)

Maybe you liked it better when Mitch McConnell held up a Supreme Court seat for 8 months, and then rushed one thru in 30 days.

Maybe you liked it better when Mitch McConnell voted No for insurrection impeachment, but then gave an annoucement that the Courts court take care of Trump.

Maybe you liked it better when the Trump appointed judge held up Trump's stolen documents trial such that it would never be heard.

Maybe you liked it better when the Supreme Court held up the DC Insurrection trial.

Maybe you liked it better when the Supreme Court stepped in on Al Gore and announced a ceasing of the Florida recount, handing the Presidency to Bush Jr by 500 votes.

Maybe you liked it better when Katherine Karris was used as Jeb Bush's stooge to make sure brother won the election, or when Florida cleared thousands of predictably black voters were illegally wiped from the poles before the election.

Maybe you liked it better when Trump was President and he said there were "fine people" in Charlottesville VA with tiki torches.

Maybe you liked it better when Trump held up foreign aide for Ukraine in a attempted bribery to get dirt on his probably future opponent?

Maybe you liked it better when Trump said "Putin can do whatever the hell he wants" with NATO nations.

Maybe you liked it better when Trump's border policy was to try and convince the American public that building a Great Big Wall would stop the people from crossing over, and then when he separated up families, making orphans out of little children.

Maybe you liked it better when he was cheating on his wives, every single time that he porked a big breasted woman half his age.

Maybe you liked it better when he..... oh, never mind.

A Republican sycophant. For some reason, you left that part out.

This was a standard business records case.

And a standard sentencing will take place on July 11th for this business records case.

I'm not sad at all. You should be the one crying in your soup. As I said above, this verdict is a huge boost for the Trump campaign. In fact just after the verdict was announced, his website that accepts campaign donations crashed due to excessive volume.

Then the statute of limitations should have ran its course.

I'll do a side bet with you that there is no way this (corrupt) judge doesn't sentence him to jail time. It will make his book deal and contract with MSNBC that much more valuable.

This thing was so farcical it's sort of breathtaking.

I watched Fox for 3 hours this morning.
Am on msnbc now.
Will watch cnn and fox tonight. I tape all networks, all hours.

I HIGHLY doubt cnn is calling this banana Justice. Maybe they've offered a Trump lawyer to make an appearance, in hopes they get to play middle man in the networks game. But there's no way real news staffers there aren't popping champagne tonight.

Everyone is doing a fine job of not celebrating, but it'll happen.

I'm not a legal scholar.
But from what I've read, the Prosecution can claim that the clock stops on the Statute of Limitations whenever Trump left the jurisdiction of New YHork.

My have you gotten your panties all twisted.
I'll take probation for $100.

Because you know, no one cares anymore about INTEGRITY.

Do you care about INTEGRITY?

Or will you be voting for Donald Trump again in November?

It's not just something the prosecution can claim, it's the law. We went through this in the other thread. T4K found the controlling case. The SOL was tolled for every day Trump was continuously out of NY. Coming back occasionally only gave him credit for those specific days. It didn't make all the other days count.

What do you have? (in a squeeky voice) "Oh, It's a banana republic!"

The OT has been the land of the Resistance for 8 years! And a few lose screws who hang out to offer up their insanties to us.
You wanna play here? Let's play! What do you got???
You're gonna go down! Maybe not 34-0, I'll admit Biden is over the hill, and I don't favor a collection of his policies, but you're on the losing side of this current political debate. Because Trump is a BEAST!
