Troye was a former national security official in Trump's White House.

The rally, which included thousands of lifelong Republicans, was hosted by Olivia Troye, a former Trump-Pence administration national security official.

"As a firsthand witness to the chaos of the Trump presidency behind closed doors, I could say this, we cannot go back… Our commitments to the Constitution, to the integrity of the American democracy, to the rule of law, to sane, rational governance and to basic human decency and civility are transcended, especially at this critical moment," Troye said.

"These are the ideals that unite us, regardless of our political background or voting history, and these are the ideals that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz share with us."

The tide has shifted nicely

I don't want to jinx, and knock on wood, but I feel this could be a landslide. Harris is slowly closing the gap in Ohio and Florida. Remember the Reagan democrats? There will be a huge block of Harris republicans that are sick and tired of the traitor and want the party back.
