IDEA: California appears to be fumbling its way through ballot counting, with only 63% of votes tallied as of this morning. Maybe it’s time they reach out to Florida, where counting ballots seems to be a far more efficient endeavor.

He and Adam Carolla were on the same morning radio show (Kevin and Bean). Jimmy was already established on the show and met Adam when he needed someone to train him for a boxing match. Adam was a boxing trainer at the time. Adam ended up getting a bit part on the radio which led to his offer to do Loveline with Dr. Drew.

Another fact is that Jimmy Kimmel's family was friends with Carson Daly's family and it was Kimmel who gave him his first job as his at the radio station. Daly's mom was in radio so it would have probably happened anyway, but Jimmy is apparently pretty good at identifying talent.
