This trash used to be exclusively pushed by Republicans. How times change. It is quite interesting how liberals completely 180 on issues without batting an eye. People are concerned about rent, gas, and food, not trinkets that could be made here at a slightly higher cost (creating jobs).

Trump rewrote the book on tariffs.

China countered our tariffs by devaluing their currency, and Biden kept the tariffs in place. We had no inflation.

It seems like tariffs on Chinese imports are a bipartisan issue now, see the 100% tariffs the Biden administration has slapped on Chinese electric vehicles.
