If the Democrats can find a centrist candidate with common sense policies that appeal to both the left and right, illegal and legal, they can easily defeat the far right MAGA Republicans.

Is playing up 'Aligator Island' a psychological move to increase self deportations?

If say five million people leave or are deported, that lessens the strain on hospitals, schools, housing, social services, while also spurring American jobs and wages.

The Democrat hype machine is referring to them as internment camps. Which one sounds most unpleasant?

Alligator Alcatraz
Alligator Auschwitz
Gator Gulag

We'll help them self deport.

Too bad 73,000 of those jobs were working for the GOVT (state and local)

Private sector job growth showed the smallest monthly gain since OCT 2024.

On Wednesday, ADP's private payroll report for June showed an overall loss of 33,000 jobs.

The Manufacturing Sector lost 7,000 jobs.

You might want to try and increase your reading comprehension.
Either that, or put down the Orange "Kool-Aid" for more than a few minutes.

Just to be clear here...

Centene withdrew their full year guidance (yesterday) due to enrollment challenges and rising member health costs.

That's why it got clobbered.

Just to be clear, the BBB simply requires able-bodied non-retired men to work or volunteer 20 hours per week to continue receiving health care coverage.

That's not all what the BBB does.

Just to be clear, the BBB takes the existing 6% limit on taxes that states can impose on health care providers - - - which is how they raise revenue and pay for federal reimbursement - - - would phase down to 3.5% by 2032, with states losing more money for Medicaid.

Bush proposed privatization of Medicare. Same playbook, they just keep chipping away and Trump is the first Republican President since Reagan that could make it happen.

Can we have ICE help with that? I had a discussion w an illegal immigrant on Monument Blvd in Concord tell me how every time he goes to the ER he uses a different name and ID. He could pay his bills, but he was sending money home to Mexico.

Considering the Obamacare medicaid expansion didn't exist when Bush was President you could say there is still more Medicaid available than when Bush was President. In any case, the Medicaid cuts don't hit until 2026 and 2028 so another Congress will address them. Trump will sign legislation that reverses those cuts if he gets other things in return - like billions for ICE concentration camps and mass deportations. There are no real plans to cut spending. Just to establish leverage for future negotiations. Deficits will explode as they always do when fiscal conservatives control government.

The people voted to make me more wealthy and the government is delivering. The tax cuts on tips and overtime and seniors are vote buying gimmicks that have expirations. Tax cuts for the rich are permanent. I'm in my early 50s and plan to retire in a few years when the kids finish high school. I'll take the tax cuts, thank you very much. It's a good time to be a selfish, greedy American and I'm embracing that.

The real painful thing from a morality perspective are the concentration camps and bounty hunters that this bill pays for. It will be open warfare on brown people, naturalized citizens or not. A permanent stain on this country is brewing that we will all be guilty of as Americans of this era. And 45% of non-Black poc voted for it.

Gaza peace deal brewing?

Its rumored that Syria and Lebanon will soon join the Abraham Accords, with the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining in the near future. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS) is a key figure in all of this, hoping to bring a new era to the middle east absent of conflict and focused on prosperity.

Hamas leaders in Gaza to be relocated.

Several ME countries will administer Gaza, and some Gazans will emmigrate.

ICE's $175 billion windfall: Trump's mass deportation force set to receive military-level funding - Salon.com

https://www.salon.com/2025/07/03/ices-175-billion-windfall-trumps-mass-deportation-force-set-to-receive-military-level-funding/

"President Donald Trump's budget, which passed the Senate Tuesday, allocated some $175 billion towards his mass deportation campaign, more money than almost any country spends on its military, and many times the estimated yearly cost it would take to end world hunger…..

The $175 billion deportation budget is larger than the military budget for any country other than the United States and China, surpassing the Russian military budget by nearly $30 billion……

The budget for ICE's enforcement will likely be allocated in large part to hiring new ICE agents, the often-masked agents who abduct people from American streets and courthouses. The new $30 billion ICE budget, more than three times the previous budget, would provide for the hiring of some 10,000 ICE agents, who would receive a $10,000 bonus, per the White House. For comparison, the FBI's budget in fiscal year 2025 was just $11 billion."

Paramilitaries that cover their faces and have establishment support to prey on an underclass are not new to America. The KKK operated for about 100 years in various forms. I'm just going to keep saying it - 45% of non-Black poc voted for white supremacy. I wonder how they will enjoy the ride.

I know a young man who was shot at a quinceanera party in Oakland.

Mexican Americans would be glad to see that gone, and many Black Americans are tired of being shut out of job opportunities by the Primo preference in job hiring, be it primo, hermano, village or soccer buddy, plus the language barrier. Not to mention competition fir housing, services, etc.

At a recent rally in Poland citizens were chanting "Donald Trump, Donald Trump."
