Will Trump make the same mistake as Reagan and cave into raising taxes, like some in his cabinet are advising him to do?

It was (admittedly) a big mistake by Reagan in 1982, resulting in $1.70 of additional spending for each $1.00 raise in taxes.

uh NVIDIA stock down 2pct today due to tarrifs on chips sold ($5B)to china with no other substitute markets. All scurrying to lord Trump to promise domestic investment (yeah right) in return for removing stupid tariffs, curry other favors and show of trump meme coin collection. Let's not be naive here.

Dan Niles, Niles Investment Management founder, said in a latest program on CNBC that NVIDIA's (NASDAQ:NVDA) $5.5 billion inventory write-down following US export restrictions on the company shows that the company is facing demand issues.
