"……..Eric Trump said that he was working on "several" hotels in India. A group connected to Mukesh Ambani,* India's richest man, recently paid a $10mn "development fee" to the Trump Organization."Pick the five biggest cities [in India], and we're going to be there," he said."………

I wonder how Ambani enjoys eating that 50% tariff on India sh@it sandwich? He shouldn't take it personally. He ain't the first guy, nor will he be the last, to get Gondorf-ed out of millions by the Trumps.

*Certainly the possibility exists that the Trumps may have a side deal with the mark where everyone in India gets f@ucked except him.

Nothing unusual about their development fee, they've been doing it for years. I believe they primarily market the Trump brand for hotels these days, possibly a lower-risk approach.

Trump Social is another gold mine.

For CONTEXT, this is a company that is a SMELTER and is simply RESTARTING a plant that was only running at 75% capacity.

"The restart was made possible with the help of South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper), Mt. Holly's power supplier. The parties worked cooperatively to reach an agreement in principle to extend the current contract through 2031 to purchase the additional power necessary for the restart. The final details of the restart will be subject to a definitive agreement with Santee Cooper, along with confirmation of economic incentives provided by Berkeley County and the state of South Carolina."

This is also a company that has operations in Iceland, the Netherlands, and Jamaica.

This has nothing to do with increasing aluminum mining production.
The average copper mine in the U.S. takes 29 years to come online.

A 50% tariff will never stimulate copper mine development.
It's a permitting problem.

But Trump can't seem to get this into his pea-brain.

GOD PUNISHES fUCLA FOR BREAKING UP PAC-12

Trump administration seeking $1 billion settlement from UCLA | CNN Politics
https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/08/politics/ucla-trump-administration-settlement

"A draft of a proposed agreement sent to the school Friday and obtained by CNN requires UCLA to pay the federal government $1 billion over multiple installments, along with a $172 million claims fund for people impacted by violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin."

* fUCLA paid close to that amount a couple of years back for one bad gynecologist; and
*The most dangerous thing in this country right now is White Man grievance

No, White Affirmative Action aka The Good Ole Boy System will make sure those slots are reserved. How do you expect guys like Trump and his lads to secure college degrees?

"Who does this?"

I'll tell you who. someone who, if he had to, would be willing to "donate" millions and millions of dollars for the public good from his own bank account if it gave him the reins to the Oval Office and the billions of dollars he can generate for his own account as a result of that.

Trump donating his salary is the best loss leader-like move in the history of loss leader-like moves:

Jeff Bezos agreed to finance a promotional film about Melania Trump that will reportedly put $28 million directly in her pocket;

The Trump family and its business partners have collected $320 million in fees from a new cryptocurrency, brokered overseas real estate deals worth billions of dollars and are opening an exclusive club in Washington called the Executive Branch charging $500,000 apiece to join, all in the past few months alone;

Trump hosted an exclusive dinner at his Virginia club for 220 investors in the $TRUMP cryptocurrency that he started days before taking office in January. Access was openly sold based on how much money they chipped in not to a campaign account but to a business that benefits Mr. Trump personally;

The president's stake in its parent company Trump Media & Technology Group is now worth about $2bn on paper, while the family's crypto holdings may rival its real estate portfolio.

TMTG has raised $2.5bn to buy bitcoin. Trump's World Liberty Financial has also said that an Emirati state-owned investment firm had used its stablecoin to invest $2bn in Binance;

Eric Trump said that he was working on "several" hotels in India. A group connected to Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man, recently paid a $10mn "development fee" to the Trump Organization. "Pick the five biggest cities [in India], and we're going to be there," he said.

But, noting the role of geopolitics in potential deals, he said if there were "true political stability" he would enter the Israeli market and has had "a hundred" opportunities to enter China.
"Our brand is hugely popular in China," he said. "In the middle of tariffs and trade wars, it's just not the right time, right?"

Great post. Would add: Trump is able to say and do things that cause the stock market to go up or down, in the short term. Gee, any chance that he or his cronies are profiting from that? We're talking billions right there.

I think when you secure a $500,000,000 civil fraud judgment against a defendant you have moved from the hunting phase to the roasted on a platter with an apple in his mouth phase.

"The claim that mRNA vaccines have killed 400,000 people annually in the USA is unfounded and not supported by available evidence.

Here's why:
COVID-19 deaths vs. vaccine deaths: It's important to differentiate between deaths caused by the COVID-19 virus and deaths potentially associated with vaccines. For instance, the US experienced a tragic milestone of over 400,000 deaths from the coronavirus in January 2021.

VAERS Data Misinterpretations: The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) collects reports of adverse events, including deaths, that occur after vaccination. However, it's crucial to understand that a report to VAERS does not automatically establish a causal link between the vaccine and the adverse event. Studies on VAERS data highlight that reports do not offer insights into the cause of death for those individuals. For instance, a person might die from an unrelated illness weeks or months after receiving a vaccine, and this death would still be reported to VAERS.

Scientific Consensus: Multiple studies and analyses of vaccine safety data, including those involving millions of doses administered, consistently demonstrate that COVID-19 vaccines, including mRNA vaccines, are safe and effective in preventing severe illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19.

Rare Adverse Events: While rare adverse events, such as myocarditis and pericarditis, have been reported after COVID-19 vaccination (particularly with mRNA vaccines and in younger males), these cases are generally mild and respond well to treatment. Studies have also not shown an increased risk of these conditions or other adverse events compared to background rates in the general population.

Benefits Outweigh Risks: The overall consensus from public health authorities like the CDC and FDA is that the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination far outweigh any potential risks.

It's crucial to rely on reputable sources of information regarding vaccine safety, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and scientific studies published in peer-reviewed journals."

Read the article. His argument is that even if the order technically exempts cancer research, the expectation is that all mRNA research will likely be chilled.

DR. HATFILL: Studies Showed No Net Benefit. Rather, They Showed Cellular Havoc From mRNA Overload
(19:29 mins)

https://rumble.com/v6x9spe-dr.-hatfill-studies-showed-no-net-benefit.-rather-they-showed-cellular-havo.html?e9s=src_v1_ucp_a

Dr. Hatfill said, "It was more dangerous to take a vaccine than it was to contract COVID-19 and be hospitalized with it."...

In another series of explosive statements, Dr. Hatfill attested that the vaccine manufacturers never did their due diligence to ensure their shots were safe and "essentially ran the pandemic response."

"Nobody stood up to them. Nobody questioned them… Pfizer wanted a [75]-year moratorium on the clinical trial data, which from the start showed these never prevented infection or disease transmission," he explained, adding, "There's no good clinical data to ever show it reduced the severity of disease."

That's the typical weak MAGA argument - don't get outraged about something that is actually happening and a decision that is filled with hypocrisy.

Gerrymandering can have the opposite effect from the one desired. You're trying to win all the districts 55-45 (or something like that) but then things go south and you end up losing a lot of them that you thought were safe.

That's what happened to the Republican gerrymander of NJ in 2010 signed by Chris Christie. By 2018 it was 11-1 Dems. The Dems ungerrymandered that somewhat and now it is 9-3 Dems.
