Trump's sons, I am skeptical about these claims.
I don't think that the decisions by an American President regarding what is an endangered species apply to animals and wildlife not native to America and its territories. I'm no expert on wildlife, but I have been out in many of the wild areas in this country, the Canadian bush, and I've been to a lot of our zoos. And I've seen a lot of wildlife documentary movies, going back to the days of Frank Buck. Jim Corbett was a favorite author of mine.
The animal in the first photo looks exactly like a leopard to me, and there are no leopards I've heard of, now roaming America. Leopards are found in Africa and Asia. The rest of these photos depict animals native to Africa, is my guess.
There are some animals protected by our endangered species act, which are a little controversial, such as gray wolves and spotted owls, and we have been through their controversies before. The arguments there may never end. Wolves will attack livestock and kill them, and the ranchers believe they have a right to protect their cattle against wolves. The controversy over spotted owls was that as the human population grew and expanded, development of land forced some spotted owls to abandon their nests. Spotted owls are very resourceful, and I never heard of any deaths due to losing their nest and/or habitat. They just moved to other habitats, and made new nests. One resourceful spotted owl family was seen nesting in the enclosure of a brightly lit sign in a supermarket parking lot. Happy as clams, as the light gave off some heat to keep them warm.
