Let the carnage begin


Donald Trump will flex one of the most intense and sweeping demonstrations of presidential power on the first day of any administration, seeking to fundamentally change America's course by sundown on Monday.

On a frigid day that forced inside his swearing-in as the 47th president, Trump plans a blizzard of hardline executive actions on immigration, energy production, transgender athletes and the pardoning of January 6 rioters.


His inaugural show of force "close to 100 to be exact," he said Sunday will set the tone for a second term anchored on Trump's strongman persona and vision of an all-powerful presidency, aimed at unleashing intense disruption at home and abroad.

Day 1: "Shock and Awe" promised.

The first thing he should do is preemptively pardon himself and his entire staff. After all, it isn't proof of criminality. Rather, they are targets of Democrat witch hunts.

It's hard watching the Rotunda, where MAGA protestors invaded in protest of the popular vote, be turned into decoration for the original coup d'etat artist.

Trump has been sworn in and announces his Golden Era of America has begun. Meaningless branding rhetoric as far as I'm concerned.

This late start, combined with paperwork delays for nominees and the fact that a number of nominees had particularly complicated financial portfolios, added days to the confirmation process. Some of Trump's nominees faced additional procedural votes to advance their nominations, due to a lack of bipartisan support. Even with those problems, 14 of the 15 secretaries Trump officially submitted to the Senate were eventually confirmed.
Appointee preparation is vital for success in the Senate and allows for greater cooperation between the administration and Congress.

List of some 78 executive orders by Trump today.

If you look at the date, they appear to be entirely wholesale cancelations of Biden's executive orders.

A popular Trump meme was a gif of Trump eclipsing Obama like the sun eclipsing the moon.

Many of the canceled executive order, I noticed, are you do with Covid pandemic. That's over. So it just seems petty to me. But, that's entirely who trump is.

I have not seen that.
But I did just watch the indoor military parade, and, you know, I was actually thinking that at least one of those soldiers with their spear could lunge out and skewer the man through the torso. Moreso, I had a flash image that all 200 men would bum rush him and end his day. They were all armed. They had him right where there would be no escape. Not even the Supreme Court!

Boy, thank god that horrible vision didn't come to pass. Can you imagine how inexperienced a President Vance would be?

Nothing soaring or uplifting like how many Presidents spoke to the American people before him.

He also never mentioned anything about "reaching out".
He did the opposite.
