Over time, I do think the president's policies can impact inflation and the overall economy. Too early to say what the impact of Trump 2.0 will be. When the previous guy was President, the right zeroed in on inflation as much as they could, especially to the extent that it impacted working-class Americans. I do believe the price of eggs was mentioned once or twice.
Since the price of eggs (and to a large extent, prices in general) don't have much to do with who the President is, when I complain about the price of eggs now, I am just joking around (and maybe hoping to own a few righties).
