I disagree with RFK Jr on his anti-vaccine stance, but he has said his concern is related to not rushing vaccines and testing for safety rather than taking vaccines away. I am in favor of his emphasis on reducing junk food in the American diet although I am not sure how he is going to accomplish that, especially in poor urban areas.

He didn't seem to have these concerns when he rushed to abuse heroin.

Yes, if it's true.

Caroline Kennedy calls cousin, RFK Jur., a "predator" before HHS hearing.

In the letter, she praised her cousin for recovering from substance abuse but said before getting sober, he encouraged siblings and cousins to use drugs and they wound up addicted, ill or dead. She said, broadly, that her cousin had gone on to "misrepresent, lie and cheat his way through life."

"Bobby is addicted to attention and power," Caroline Kennedy says in the video. "Bobby preys on the desperation of parents of sick children vaccinating his own kids, while building a following hypocritically discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs."

She characterized running the Department of Health and Human Services which includes overseeing the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health as "an enormous responsibility, and one that Bobby is unqualified to fill."

"He lacks any relevant government, financial, management or medical experience," Caroline Kennedy said. "His views on vaccines are dangerous and willfully misinformed. The facts alone should be disqualifying, but he has personal qualities related to this job, which, for me, pose even greater concern."

Ironically enough, this is a very good example of high school gossip circle behavior,

Of all the Kennedy clan, Caroline has always conducted herself with particular grace and honor, which is the complete opposite of how RFK Jr. and the Trumps have conducted themselves. Therefore, I believe there is iron in her words.

Cousin Caroline attacked his character, so it's perfectly normal to look into hers.

You have been willing to point out Trump moves that are a bridge too far for you, like his plans to rid Gaza of Palestinians.

It surprises me that you would think RFK Jr was a good selection (or Pete Hegseth or Noem or having Stephen Miller involved in any capacity in government). One can be virulently anti Progressive and very Conservative and still think Trump is a complete wild card that is out of control and surrounded by people that really don't understand how government works and thus are going to continuously be back peddling and rescinding every time they get blowback from non insane MAGAs that do understand how government works.

RFK Jr is a very good appointment for Health Secretary, big pharma, revolving door/regulatory capture, metabolic syndrome, vaccine schedules and FDA permits for food additives more in line with international/European standards.

And yes, I will not hesitate to criticize Trump and his appointees when necessary.

Fair enough. We can agree to disagree. I simply don't trust RFK Jr. IMHO, he does not lead his life by any discernible Code of Honor….even Ghost Dog, Mike Ehrmantraut and Ray Shoesmith had that.

By the Ghost Dog standard of honor code, what percentage of Congress would qualify in your opinion?

"Bobby is addicted to attention and power," Caroline Kennedy says in the video. "Bobby preys on the desperation of parents of sick children vaccinating his own kids, while building a following hypocritically discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs."

This is so obviously untrue and dishonest. All of RFK's kids are in their 20s to 40s and were vaxxed before he became involved in the vaxx-skepticism movement in the last fifteen years. Clearly, Caroline will say anything to smear RFK, truth be damned. What a sad, vile person.

How many times does RFK have to say that he is about radical transparency and data? Questioning any vaccine is treated like a cartoon of the "prophet." Vaccines are a religion.

Most politicians will do anything to get elected/reelected because it is the easiest gig on the planet (and you can be really, really stupid to do it) and with the contacts they make and the info they are privy to they can get very wealthy. So, what do you say, less than 5%? I detest politicians.

I don't have a major opinion on it other than to note than many countries, including the majority of Europe, have discontinued putting fluoride in their tap water.

Fluoride is a neurotoxin, shown to cause adverse effects on the brain, especially for children. One more reason to be stoked about RFKs nomination.

It's found naturally in water and is beneficial in low concentrations. As with anything, too much changes the outcome. Iron is necessary for red blood cell production, but elevated levels are associated with cancer. And levels a little higher than that are simply toxic. As long as dental care products containing fluoride can be bought, it would probably not be a disastrous move to stop adding it to our water.

Regardless of whether or not we should add fluoride to the water supply, RFK Jr. is not a stable or ethical person.
