47% of Israelis believe that every man, woman and child should be killed in a conquered city.

Israeli soldiers threw two children whose hands they've tied behind their back into a mass grave and buried them alive with bulldozers.

IDF captured 3 members of Hamas' Beit Hanoun battalion in northern Gaza. The IDF posted this picture of the capture Sunday. Do they look like they are starving?

I'm not really following the day-to-day, but my overall impression is that the current Israeli government is not exactly covering themselves in virtue (taking into account the horrific October 7th attack).

Have they even considered the long-term ramifications (blowback) of their ham-handed response? Seems like a lot of this is about Netanyahu clinging to power. Note that I am anti-Hamas and decidedly pro-state-of-Israel, but c'mon...

A picture from 2024? Can you please post the source of that picture, because the person that sold you the notion that this is a recent picture from Gaza and some sort of proof that there is no starvation there today is gaslighting you.

The other problem within that older picture is that the people they are binding, blindfolding and parading in their underwear are in all likelihood civilians they have arbitrarily arrested.

Showing three men you claim are not starving in Gaza justifies your claim that no one is starving there?

Perhaps Hamas, pictured, is the one starving the people of Gaza.

There are literally thousands of tons of food donated by several countries and NGOs, enough to flood Gaza with food and fed its entire population for 3 months, and several hundreds of trucks just sitting on the border in Egypt that have been prevented from going into Gaza by ISRAEL. Once you understand this, you realize how dumb that statement above is.

Quote:

A letter signed by 109 agencies including Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam International and Amnesty International says the Israeli government is blocking humanitarian organisations from effectively distributing life-saving aid.

"Just outside Gaza, in warehouses and even within Gaza itself tonnes of food, clean water, medical supplies, shelter items and fuel sit untouched with humanitarian organisations blocked from accessing or delivering them," the agencies wrote. "The government of Israel's restrictions, delays, and fragmentation under its total siege have created chaos, starvation, and death."

I pulled the picture from a tweet you posted in another thread. It's difficult to find pictures of emaciated Palestinians other than pictures of individual children experiencing medical conditions.

I may not have articulated that very well: For the record, I am decidedly for the idea of having a state of Israel, but I am not for what the current government of Israel is doing. Also not for the "settlements" that have been popping up the past few decades (or however long).

The reasons I am against what Israel is doing lately are:

- it is a humanitarian disaster
- it seems counter-productive to Israel's long-term future in the area

People are starving everywhere in the world, including in the U.S., and yes, the Bay Area. But famine? Like the ones happening right now in Yemen and Sudan? People in Sudan aren't making their kids eat sand and post it on Instagram.

Ridiculous whataboutism.

If you're hungry and homeless in the Bay Area, you can get a free meal at a number of soup kitchens. Have you ever seen a little girl this emaciated in your life??

The people in Gaza are starving because the Israelis have destroyed their homes, stores, bakeries and cities and the large amount of aid sent to them by many countries is being blocked or even destroyed by Israeli sociopaths.

"The grossly overused 'antisemitism' card is finished - #Israel and its overzealous lobby have only themselves to blame for that. They killed it. The fact is you cannot massacre tens of thousands on innocent humans in broad daylight, and then try to starve and ethnically cleanse the remaining 1.7 million survivors - and expect there won't be a giant global backlash against you for an ongoing genocide, a holocaust.

LATEST: Israel destroys the UN food distribution center in #Gaza. Sadistic… "

According to one of the comments to the tweet above, the photo was taken in Yemen AND there's no proof that the child's condition is related to the famine that's actually occurring in Yemen!

Why is the New York Times, Financial Times, and left-wing Twitter publishing and posting fake pictures if there's real starvation in Gaza?

As well, the great majority of aid available is not allowed to go into Gaza and is just sitting in warehouses at the Gaza border. Whatever Israel is allowing in is only a small fraction of the food already available at the border.

There is no doubt that starvation is a tool that has been applied by the Israeli government:
