I think an important question to ask is why, at a time when crime has been DECLINING and the population AGING do we see the number of civilians being killed INCREASING. Population alone can not explain this.

Nor likely simple questions about racism. Increasing prevalence of guns and police perception (both real and likely projected) of danger is probably at play. Stressed agencies that are making cops work more overtime as a cost saving measure. More mental illness and police activity where drugs and domestic violence is involved. There are likely a myriad of factors and one variable explanations are DUMB. But the lack of centralized data collection in a law enforcement system which is high decentralized makes big N statistical studies near impossible.

But that doesn't excuse Kirk for essentially creating click bait by using bad faith arguments.

"Racism" or "facts" is is not the issue. This is Charlie Kirk making trivial points to his captive audience for cheap applause lines. Exactly what Trump does.

The fact Charlie Kirk was admittedly a very effective salesman for his impressionable young, mostly at least nominally "Christian" MAGA recruits just underscores that TPUSA won't be able to replace him.

I've said this before, but it's worth repeating that TPUSA without Charlie Kirk will foreshadow what MAGA will become without Donald Trump: a dying movement.

Of course the money will keep pouring in from rich benefactors, but money will never replace Charlie Kirk or Donald Trump's essential recruiting roles in their movements.

And to finalize the point: TPUSA was the main recruiter for new MAGA adherents. So without Charlie Kirk as TPUSA's figurehead, MAGA's recruiting among young people will practically fizzle out ....
