The affiliates have broadcast licenses. This is a distinction without a difference; the FCC can still screw with ABC if they want. Otherwise what is he talking about here?

These Kimmel comments are nothing compared to what Trump himself says to the entire nation.

I think this could have happened ANY day after ANY show.

It just happened today because they got the requisite affiliate stations lined up to put pressure on ABC.

That's fine for their minority to push policy. We need to do the same.

Certain the Trump administration has been working to lineup affiliates to make an announcement they would preempt the show. ABC follow suit nationwide.
