In my mind, I put people like you in 1930's Germany, and when Jews were being rounded up, you looked the other way, cheered, and/or actively helped in the crime.

Sounds like the California Capitol new Annex Building which has soared to over $1.2 Billion - with no oversight and 2,000 NDAs signed. Seven years under construction, a large part of it underground parking. One allegation is the new floor plans provide private hallways for legislators to use after controversial votes - to avoid the press. All paid for by citizens.
