Campo also got Santana, Steve Miller, and Frumious Bandersnatch in the late 60's.

I think all this was in 68 or 69.

Eddie played a party at my frat in '75. I gave him the check ($500). He was professional, a gentleman and he killed it that night.

Greg Kihn, Jimmy Lyon, and Eddie (circa early 80's)

Got free tickets to go see Eddie Money once (this was after he was in the greatest hits portion of his career) playing a relatively small venue compared to what he played in his heyday. Absolutely killed it - gave 100%. Great showman.

Also apparently a very nice guy in person.

I read the definitive Dead book, A Long Strange Trip and was surprised to see they played at Las Lomas in the 1960's

October 1966 for $2.00

Sponsored by the WC Civic Arts Center.
Only 50 to 100 showed up. The band was bummed that the school had a policy banning dancing.

The late Markie Post was probably at the back of the gym on a snootful of blotter acid doing interpretive dancing.
