"Senior US officials: Trump did not expect the two-month ceasefire to collapse."

Well...bombing them does have that effect.
I have never seen a more incompetent US Administration in my life. This is not even a shitshow.... https://t.co/fvw8UW7JXT

The president was made aware of the pending publication 2 days ago.
Maybe now you understand why we struck Iran last night.

Only a minority of Americans like this stupid war... and most of those are the ones that like whatever Trump tells them to like. Thanks, Mr. President, for sealing your own doom (and that of your party). Your lack of knowledge and intelligence has finally caught up with you.
The best way to anticipate the future is to find out what Benjamin Netanyahu wants and then assume it's just a matter of time before Trump does it. Hard to go wrong with that method. I can't think of a time when it would have failed. https://t.co/vSVSOJWYuk

We'll see when/if the Dems can finally pull their heads out of their asses. Until then, the Republican Party lives on and will do just fine

Finding common ground: I agree that a lot of Dems have their heads up their asses.
Now, do you still think this "war" is a good idea? Why or why not?

Still? I'm not sure I ever said I thought this war was a good idea.

Not 100% sure but weren't you saying that this war is worth it in order to keep Iran from having nukes?
Or do you think the war is indeed a bad idea? (careful... depending on your answer, you may be "primaried")

But, you love Trump - to the point of praising his every move. Ergo the conclusion, based on this established pattern of behavior (not an assumption), that you at least tacitly support the war because your guy is all in for it.

Most, if not all wars, are neither entirely good nor bad. I'd prefer a country shouting "Death to America" in their government body to not have access to the ability to bring death to America. I'd also prefer there were no wars ever, anywhere. I've said repeatedly on this forum that I do not wish for the death of anyone and pushed back on others voicing their desire for certain people to be dead, that should be clue enough that I don't love war.

If I implied that you love war, my bad. I doubt even Pete Hegseth loves war!
The question I meant to pose was, on balance, are you in favor of what we are doing over there (and the decision to do it), or are you against it? Sounds like, in a subsequent post, you said you have mixed feelings. Fair enough. Indeed, "most, if not all wars are neither entirely good nor bad".
I have been very much against this war, from day one. The one thing I haven't been able to reconcile, intellectually and philosophically, is that, the bombing we did there last year ("obliterating their nuclear capabilities"), I wasn't particularly against that. So what's okay and what's not and where do you draw the line? Just seems like we went too far this time, what with the "regime change" and all.
