Nice goalpost movement. Your post spoke about California and Sacramento so I responded about California and Sacramento. You'd have to ask people who live in those states about their government policies.

At this point, the effect of Dear Leader's war of choice on Iran on gas prices is at least as large as that of CA state regulations, all you need to do is to look at the national gas price map - that was the point of my naming other states impacted by Operation AIPAC Fury.

Resorting to whataboutism is not going to help you ignore the big fat orange elephant in the room.

All this despite the record draws on the SPR.

It strikes me as terribly strange that Trump supporters who got so upset and downright ANGRY about Biden releasing oil out of our SPR are extremely quiet about this latest release under Trump.

A release of 172 million barrels that has dropped our SPR to only 375 million barrels.
The lowest level since the 1980's.

And now Trump is eyeing using military base oil to refill the SPR?

I've acknowledged that state regulation is a factor in high gas prices, but you are doubling down on Trump's war of choice not having an impact at least as big on gas prices going forward (see the sharp rises in states with lax gas regulations).

That is yet another example of why getting sucked into your immature back and forth argumentation is not just a complete waste of time, but also a detriment to the quality of the discourse on this board.

When did I say the war isn't having an impact on gas prices? That seems like a pretty obvious unarguable fact.

Yet here you are.

This whole exchange is a long-winded and tedious exercise of you trying to divert from the big orange elephant in the room - Trump's war of choice on Iran has blown up gas prices across the nation.

My part in this exchange was to say that California had gas price issues long before this war

Gas prices down a bit.

Oil prices fell nearly 4% after President Trump suggested that tensions with Iran were cooling, reducing concerns over potential supply disruptions.
