Sacramento started the war of choice against oil consumers many years ago

Did Sacramento also raise the price of gas up near $5 in AZ, CO, OH, MI as well?

Nice goalpost movement. Your post spoke about California and Sacramento so I responded about California and Sacramento. You'd have to ask people who live in those states about their government policies.
The world is showing up and draining our SPR at the fastest pace on record. I.e., what I speculated might happen is exactly what's happening

Bessent is betting the war will be over & Hormuz will reopen before US SPR gets too low. I think he's going to be wrong, in part b/c… pic.twitter.com/haaLhL8oIs

At this point, the effect of Dear Leader's war of choice on Iran on gas prices is at least as large as that of CA state regulations, all you need to do is to look at the national gas price map - that was the point of my naming other states impacted by Operation AIPAC Fury.
Resorting to whataboutism is not going to help you ignore the big fat orange elephant in the room.

Your post was whataboutism lol. Asking about other states after asking about and getting a response regarding California

I've acknowledged that state regulation is a factor in high gas prices, but you are doubling down on Trump's war of choice not having an impact at least as big on gas prices going forward (see the sharp rises in states with lax gas regulations).
That is yet another example of why getting sucked into your immature back and forth argumentation is not just a complete waste of time, but also a detriment to the quality of the discourse on this board.

When did I say the war isn't having an impact on gas prices? That seems like a pretty obvious unarguable fact.

Yet here you are.
This whole exchange is a long-winded and tedious exercise of you trying to divert from the big orange elephant in the room - Trump's war of choice on Iran has blown up gas prices across the nation.
they agree with the cause and results, it's just your wording they take issue with.Cal88 said:BearlySane88 said:Cal88 said:

That's not much of a CRASH given that the JULY WTI contract closed on Friday at $90.30
Dropping 11.2% from here is NOT a crash.
Another misleading twitter post by AMuse.
