Thanks for your efforts though it seems the moderators are on the slippery slope towards turning this into a right wing echo chamber. Half of my recent posts have been deleted and I've been civil and respectful. I've already been deciding often not to post my thoughts in recent months just to avoid the right wing piling on that would result. I'm wondering whether it's worth my effort to keep posting here. I'll probably stay, though it wouldn't be the first time I've abandoned a forum due to overaggressive moderation.

I am responding not to call out EOB but to demonstrate how perception is not always reality.

Eastern has had 6 individual posts removed by a moderator in all of 2026; he has over 60 OT posts in @ the past week alone (I stopped counting at 60).

Wait, stop. I'm a left-of-center Jerry Brown Liberal. To me, the issue isn't "Are the mods left or right?" They have 86'ed (See what I did there?) plenty of posters on either side of the political spectrum. Probably about 50/50.

Other issues that might actually be at play:

- How much should this board be "controlled"?

- Why "control" a reasonably civilized discussion of how much this board should be controlled? ("Meta-control?")

Update from Dajo. His main note is that he was informed of why he was suspended. His communication to me included the following about the email he received:

"Your Bear Insider user dajo9 was banned on 8:49pm 4/29/2026 UTC and will last until 3:49am 5/28/2026 UTC. During this time, you will not be allowed to post topics or replies on the forums. However, you will retain read access.

If you have questions, please email noreply@f5sports.com"

"But via DM, tequila told me of the explanation, "It should have been an auto generated note included with the notice of the suspension." But there is no other note include with the notice that I have seen."

For the record, I have no idea why Dajo was suspended and I do not think anyone else does either.

Wags received the same auto-generated message that Dajo did with no explanatory note.
And that the email address provided by F5Sports is non-working.
Emails bounce back as undeliverable.
