I've been out all day in meetings at City Hall and not in synch with the latest news.

So Trump is now backtracking on claiming to have pictures of a vandal going in and "hacking it up with a knife" as he claimed on June 22nd?

As I recall, Trump said that "you'll see it in court".

Surely there is someone else to blame?

He can rename a 1000 public monuments and bodies of water and the names of every one of them will be changed back…..but if the reflecting pool gets really mucky and full of toxic goop I'd leave his name on it as a warning to future generations.
