Honest question:

How do these "progressives" expect to get anywhere, with their :"Defund the Police!", "Tax on Billionaires!" and "From the river to the sea!!" stuff?

Seems to me like they're capped at about 25% of the vote, nationally (max).

Billionaires don't mind working the system to enrich themselves, largely at the expense of the taxes you pay. Why do you mind getting some of what they stole from you back?

I should have qualified that. I am totally for the rich paying somewhat higher taxes. I am against the one-time tax that's on the ballot because I'm afraid the state government will blow it all and then we'll be back to square one.

Oh, the state government will 100% misuse the funds, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't get the **** taxed out of them. Elon's fortune was largely made via government contracts and tax exemptions.

Her political instincts are bad. She should have run for Governor of California. She shouldn't have focused on Liz Cheney.

She could have actually built some political goodwill if she'd run for governor (which she'd have easily won in this state of moron liberal voters) and done some actual good compared to Newsom who has been running for President most of his eight years and done mostly harm when he's done anything at all. But she imagines a greater destiny for herself than someone who says such nonsensical things in public should.

By the same token, AOC should be focused on running for Senate and knocking Schumer out of that seat.


Harris would've been the same as Gavin- a call girl for monied interests.

No doubt. But at least she'd have a chance at a future.


I hope she runs, it keeps Newsom on the sideline, both fail and it prevents another embarrassing California loss

from what has been reported he did not promise multiple debates, and unfortunately for us Becerra's campaign cited scheduling conflicts and logistical issues for skipping subsequent events like the Univision forum.

That kind of thing can't be helped so I am ok with it. These posts about multiple debates promised are a nothingburger
