Even blue states that gerrymander to get one party government end up with corruption and extreme politics. Really? He is vehemently opposed to the filibuster (which I agree with) and says the Democrats are awful for using it. I could go on, but his appeal is how much he disagrees with his party.

He may win, but the Dems may find him a hard to control maverick. BTW, saying you respect the line between Church and State and then spending the next five minutes on how government discriminates against Christians is a really interesting strategy.
