I find not living who you are to be tragic. I feel for anyone caught in that situation. The thing is...most people simply don't care. It's unfortunate Graham is a hardline conservative and thus that stuff matters to his constituents.

This is why I dislike the GOP and conservatives so much. If you can't be yourself, then why are you leading others? Seems rather FAKE and/or misguided. The thing is, politics in the U.S. are littered with these guys like this who often make it a point to make things as misserable as possible for everyone, including "their own". Graham kind of does remind me of his buddy McCain....they look like they're rebels.

Lindsay Graham was always one of my "hatiest" (family word dating back 70 years) Senators. Just listen to his stance on Clinton during Lewinsky (by the way, if these republicans aren't hypocritical, I don't know what hypocrisy is). When he briefly came out talking tough against Trump, I thought maybe I had him wrong. But now I see that was a brief spell. He probably got wind of the fact that 90% of GOP (insanely) supports trump. No backbone, just a vote horror (spelled the other way).

I hate Lindsay graham.

By the way, he talks and looks like he's from Castro, South Carolina. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I always wondered how he ever got elected in such a state where homosexuality is a sinful "choice".

His tune is so different just one year later -- same president, same AG -- that one really must wonder what has influenced the dramatic about face in his rhetoric. Any theory?

He wants the AG job and was told it's his...if he helps get rid of Sessions.

Graham tidbits that I only learned from reading this People Magazine story from 2015 just now:

Can't stand him. His sexual preference is his own private business. It is sad that in this day and age he had to talk about his dating history.

Here's my opinion:

It has nothing to do with sexuality. Lindsey Graham is just another craven hypocrite Republican who falls in line. He may talk a lot, like John McCain, but it's all about action.

Jon Stewart's Daily Show frequently skewered the right-wing showing how they'd change their opinion on something based on who was the president. (Obama golfing = bad, Trump golfing = who cares.)

I've never seen that frequently done with left-wingers.

It's because Republicans are more hypocritical. and basically Graham fits that mold.
