What is going on !!!

This looks pretty bad. One of the initial tweets I saw said that Beirut's port was gone. I thought that was probably an exaggeration, but after seeing the below tweets, I'm not sure. Certainly it will be a while before it's back to normal. The first one has a slow motion zoom in of the explosion. The second one shows demolished buildings near the blast.

Here's the text of the second tweet translated from Spanish (which I would consider just a rumor at this point):

A lot of things (unknown knowns) pass through MIddle East ports.
Could be a warehouse fire and something in transit that wasn't suppose to be there.

The port is lost. The city is in shambles, and they're going to have to rely on Tripoli's port for imports. A lot of the country is already starving. This is horribly tragic.
