I know the Bears have a good (maybe better than good) shot at Brown regardless of other commitments. But I would think a commit from a true Center that would defend the post would be very helpful in landing Brown. I am sure he does not want to have to play defense against other post players on a regular basis and offensively sees himself as more a PF than C. Penn-Johnson has really nice looking skills for his size.

okongwu is explosive with a strong motor & a major upside...he got good size, tremendous length & dynamic athleticism, he's truly a game changer

onyeka's older bro nnamdi suffered a skateboard accident & was removed from life support on july 17, 2014...okongwu is mature & focused upon his years, he don't take anything for granted

it will be interesting to see if onyeka decides to get out of los angeles, if he does the true student athlete could find a home in berkeley

elijah hardy (like teammate naseem gaskins) got a lotta work to do in the classroom before he's ever gonna be cleared by cal admissions

the dragons (my 2nd favorite team after the bears) underachieved last season, key guys didn't accept full responsibility both on & off the court...bishop o'dowd won a california state championship in 2015 because paris & young ivee were exemplary role models, they worked as hard in the gym as they did in the classroom

i love elijah (and the family challenges he's overcome) but not as much as his social media cohort taylor

the dragons got the physical talent to compete for a california state championship next season but it's a whole another question if they got the mental discipline
