as we get ready to fly back to the states now is a good time to tell again the story of the worst thing i ever did at cal
it's true the monster got some obsessive compulsive tendencies, i dunno maybe this is the origin of the whole curvy brunette yoga female with a flat stomach thing or something, any psychoanalysts out there like cognitive behavior specialist grant anticevich?:crazy

what's the worst thing the monster ever did back in the day in berkeley?
this isn't gonna be a pretty story:cry:
yeah, i graduated with the gold phi beta kappa key (3.92 gpa), etc. but that doesn't mean my unvarnished blind ambition didn't cause me to do stuff that was wrong
so i wrote a paper for bibliography 128, children's literature, and in rereading it felt it was a technically sound paper but that it lacked interest for the reader...so i totally fabricated & included the following opening paragraph:
"I must confess that I was made uneasy to see Anne Franks's The Diary of a Young Girl on the reading list for this class. Seeing the title on the list raised several burning questions in my mind. Why had I never read this famous book? Why had my father (after a heated and lengthy debate with my mother behind closed doors) removed this work off my bookshelf as a child? It seemed to me that the answers to these questions were somehow linked to my now deceased grandfather. Although my parents never talk about him, I remembered from various bits of information pieced together that Grandpa was a figure of dubious distinction in Hitler's brass during WWII. So I was forced to think. Why were my parents, particularly my father, so reluctant to talk about my grandfather? Could the answers to my grandfather's cloudy role in Germany during WWII be found in The Diary of a Young Girl which was so mysteriously taken off my bookshelf as a child?''
and i also rewrote the following closing paragraph:
"But despite her difficult and sometimes cruel life, Anne Frank did not feel sorry for herself and she never gave up. This is a worthwhile message for both adults and children alike. All in all, The Diary of a Young Girl is a sensitive, well written, and compelling self-portrait of a brave and spirited young girl, that at least for me, will always hold a special place on my bookshelf."
absolutely none of this is true...although i have a german last name, nobody in my family has ever had any connections with any racist groups...i grew up in a culturally mixed family that celebrates individuality & diversity...my dad's sister met her jewish husband while they both were at cal
so what did my teachers say in grading the paper?
the professor: "This a fine review, not only perceptive in its commentary but in itself very well written. I hope you will keep on writing, perhaps professionally? A+"
the teaching assistant: "Your paper was very perceptive and moving because the book had a great impact on you. Though you did not generalize about non-fiction, you approached this particular book in a sensitive and understanding way. Thank you for sharing this highly personal and emotional reaction-it was very important for me personally as an Isreali jew, well versed in the literature of the holocaust, to read your reaction to the subject. The book has made you think, grow up, seek further information, and if it has instilled in you the determination not to let the horrible and shameful history repeat itself, then it has served the purpose Anne's father had when he published her diary. A+"
i'm a flawed person but i know i need to set the record straight even if it means that i'm gonna flunk the class so i go to the ta's office hours
i walk in the door & i'm blown away...she (mid to late 20s) is the cutest girl on earth (petite but curvy brunette with sparkling eyes & a dazzling smile, that's my go zone) & we talk/laugh for about an hour about our favorite authors, recent concerts & the personalities of dogs...but i never tell her my paper is full of ****, i can't stand the thought of her hating me so quickly
so i ask her if she would like to go bike riding with me at muir woods & stinson beach that weekend (with the idea that i would tell her the truth & also see her in a bikini) & she tells me she would love to go out with me but that the university code of professional standards does not allow teachers to date students
i don't give up that easily so i suggest we bring our dogs, surely there can be no policy against our dogs hanging out together, right?
she looks at me with sad eyes & tells me "this isn't going to happen, it can't happen" and we say our goodbyes
fast forward to this summer & i take my daughters shay & taylor to anne frank's house in amsterdam...i write & leave a note to both anne frank & the teacher's assistant apologizing for my actions

Bird has almost no shot at making the Celtics this season. He will need to play in G-league and really develop his NBA 3 pt range. The roster the Celtics have is stacked. Now they have Gordon Hayward as well.
"almost no shot," really?
6956, do you got any stock picks or venture capital recommendations too?ork:
california golden bear commit matt bradley is gonna play himself into the top 25 (or even better) rankings for the 2018 class if he can continue his transition based downhill uptempo spectacular play at the adidas uprising:
26.8 points per game 8.0 rebounds per game 2.2 assists per game 2.2 steals per game

"But one player who especially emerged this summer was Jabari Bird, a resourceful shooting guard who played with Jaylen Brown at the University of California. If you're wondering who could emerge from this experience with the greatest shot of landing one of those two-way contracts, it's Bird.
"He did really well. I think he showed that he can score in different ways," said Walter McCarty, the Celtics assistant who coached the summer league team in Las Vegas. "He can shoot the 3-ball, and his mid-range game is tremendous. He played tough players tough defensively. Getting blocks, rebounding, as well as scoring, so he showcased himself really well here."
Jorge Gutierrez with 14 pts on 5-9 shooting, including 3-6 from trey land, 5 assists and a rebound. But he had zero steals, and his Portland Trailblazers lost in the NBA Summer league Finals to the Lakers.
I blame it on him cutting his pony tail off after graduating from Cal (and after winning the Pac 12 Offensive AND Defensive POY).
To really seal the loss to the Lakers, Jorge sported a James Harden look.
Jorge, you gotta get your mojo back!
NBA Summer League commentator: "Jorge Gutierrez went to one of the greatest American Universities, the University of California"
the stretching is after the team workout with s&c fireball jordan jackson, the louisville/golden state warriors high tempo relentless transition scheme is only gonna work if the bears are the best conditioned team in the pac 12, if they wear down opponents to the point they don't wanna be on the same floor anymore
stu, hate your music choice, are you a ******* hippie or what?...did some random dude at people's park give you an 8-track with this song?
can you believe it, them california golden bears are gonna match up with the wichita state shockys in the 1st round of the 2017 maui invitational, who is the monster gonna root for?...no worries, i'm still gonna walk a brisk 18 with tee grizzly at coore & crenshaw's fantastic kapalua plantation course that day before my gameday coaching/player development responsibilities

I did witness the creation of People's Park as I lived across the street for two of my years at Cal. Regarding the music, let's just say Crosby, Stills, & Nash needed Neil Young a lot more than he needed them.

Whatever it takes to get up before dawn. If Neil Young can't do it try Kad Diawara. The CD liner says they had to move her to the back of the room to avoid overloading the mic.
Thanks for attempting to drag me out of my past, not an easy task. And Tee Grizzly must be a bear. But the cars, bills, jewels, Uzis, etc in the videos go beyond my tastes.
Check out Alabama Shakes, contemporary but something of a throwback. Blues are timeless. Youth is inspirational.
I'm with you stu....real music played by real musicians on real instruments....no auto tune or computer music or DJs spinning....love some C,S,N & Y....try some Joe Bonamassa or Matt Schofield blues guitar....

the team is gonna fly out to the islands on friday november 17th after hosting wofford on thursday november 16th to give the guys a little vacation before the tournament...the monster's dilemma is whether or not to go to maui early for a bears tattoo in lahaina & miss the football big game vs stanford on saturday november 18th or not?

the yoga/meditation practice teaches that the truly happy person is a balanced person with multiple interests in life
1) kapalua plantation: rugged coore & crenshaw dramatic & highly strategic design situated on a windy pineapple field in maui
2) nanea: very private charles schwab enclave on the big island with the most compelling par 5s in hawaii
3) mauna kea: wonderful rtj sr design with a walkable routing set among the volcanic black lava fields that touches the pacific ocean although the cookie cutter bunkering looks artificial
4) kukio: fazio course that emphasizes fun vs difficulty with the usual discover properties over the top on course food stations
5) kukui'ula: underrated weiskopf design with a somewhat mundane front nine & an exceptional back nine

what's shocky's top recruiting priority for the 2017 maul invitational?

that would be recruiting a bad azz rainbow with a non stop physical motor & relentless thunder dunks on the north shore...i dunno maybe he'll marry a samoan curvy brunette yoga female someday & together they'll raise a true student athlete with a 3.8 gpa with crafty left handed upside
darius, congrats on officially signing with them california golden bears today, moms gotta be really proud that her son is gonna be attending the #1 ranked public (#3) overall university in the world, she's made a lot of sacrifices to make sure this happened
walk in the rays of a beautiful son (tears of happiness)#
who's responsible for ensuring that under coach wyking's downhill up tempo transition louisville/golden state warriors scheme that the california golden bears are the best conditioned team on the floor, the kinda team that tirelessly wears opponents out (kinda like shocky in the biz world) to the breaking point that they don't wanna be on the same floor anymore?
that would be cal's energetic ball of fire jordan jackson, part of his system is introducing the guys to the department's dietitian for improved nutrition & then asking the guys to send him fotos of their food shopping trips...here's one of those fotos, not any **** in there that's for sure
gran anticevicht likes to snack on weetabix which tastes like ******* cardboard, healthy food don't gotta taste like ****...when in oz & presented with weetabix by my hosts the monster always try to discreetly give it away to a rescue dog or something, it's truly dog food
yeah the system only works if you couple proper nutrition with relentless s&c work, doing the same stuff you've always done isn't gonna make you better than the competition, you gotta be better than that
how badly do you want this?
