This Offensive Unit Falls in Line

They showed up at training camp each of them dressed in overalls. Add straw hats and boots and they would look like a group Old McDonalds, that is if Old McDonald stood well over six feet and weighed in the neighborhood of 300 pounds.

No, it’s not E-I-E-I-O but Hut 1-2-3. This unusual attire was another in the Cal offensive line’s mission to function as one. 

“Last year everybody (on the line) wore Hawaiian shirts,” said offensive tackle Jake Curhan, whose Bunyanesque appearance and 25 straight starts have given him a leadership role in the group.
