Cameron Goode Looks to be Productive and Healthy in 2020

When outside linebacker Cameron Goode showed up for spring practice in March with his arm in a sling, many Cal football followers were thinking, “Oh No, not again.”

Cameron Goode wasn’t one of them. 

Injuries had cost the senior 15 games over his first two seasons. When he was finally healthy for a sustained period in 2019 he emerged as a force. He was particularly effective in the final stretch, recording 17 tackles, including five sacks in the last three games.

So why is he not concerned that he might be headed to the injury list again?

“This is not related to what happened in 2017 and 2018,” he said from his Texas home in a recent telephone interview.
