Saffell Taking Pains With Offensive Line

Former major league baseball manager, the late Sparky Anderson, once gave a concise explanation of how to tell the difference between pain and injury.

“It’s easy,” Sparky said. “Pain don’t hurt.”

If that is the case, Cal starting center Michael Saffell hasn’t been hurting, because he certainly has had his share of pain.
