Chris Street Makes a Run for It

If you were surprised that sophomore Chris Street was the Bears’ leading rusher against Washington State last week you were not alone.

Chris Street was also taken aback.

The 5-9, 215-pounder did have an inkling, but until he was handed the ball eight times and gained 51 yards against the Cougars did he know it was for real.

“I was getting a few more reps than usual in practice last week,” he said in a telephone interview.
