Stanford Preview: Is an Upset in the Cards?

Stanford comes into Saturday's Big Game as a heavy favorite, as much as 16 points in some lines.

But Cal can take heart in the fact the 119-year history of the rivalry features many upsets, some having point spreads larger than this. 

And the Bears can rely on more than history. One thing in their favor is the schedule. They had to wait a while for it, but they finally had their bye last week. Stanford is coming off two difficult physical games with no break.
