UCLA Preview: Can Coaching Change Save the Season?

There are 5-6 won-lost records, and then there are 5-6 won-lost records. 

UCLA, which hosts Cal in the Rose Bowl Friday night is 5-6, same as the Bears. But the viewpoint is dramatically different.

Despite a couple of close, disappointing losses, the Bears cannot be all that unhappy. A team that most experts figured would be lucky to win four games is playing for bowl eligibility.

But in Westwood, 5-6 was considered disastrous enough to get the coach fired.
