Allensworth And Enwere On CGS All-Star Rosters

ADDISON, Tex. – Former Cal football players Darius Allensworth and Vic Enwere have been selected to All-Star rosters for the 2018 College Gridiron Showcase & Symposium to take place January 6-10, 2018. The showcase and symposium provides exposure and education for top college senior football players from around the country at the event that implements an OTA style format including practices and a controlled scrimmage taken in by scouts and executives from top professional leagues including the NFL and CFL.
Below are notes on Allensworth and Enwere from their Cal careers with full bios available by clicking on their names.
 
Darius Allensworth, CB, 6-0, 195, Menifee, CA (Heritage HS)
• Played in 43 career games with 22 starts and contributed career totals of 109 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss (-41 yards), 2.0 sacks (-10 yards), three interceptions, 23 pass breakups, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery
• His 23 career pass breakups are one outside of Cal's all-time list
• Finished his career as a 2017 senior by playing in all 12 games with three starts as a senior and recording 24 tackles, a career-high 3.0 tackles for loss (career-high -25 yards), a career-high-tying 1.0 sack (-1 yard) and one interception, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and his lone career fumble recovery
• Served as a Cort Majors team captain as a 2016 junior but played in only the first six contests before suffering a season-ending injury after recording 12 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss
• Put up his top numbers as a 2015 sophomore when he started all 13 games and had career highs of 41 tackles, 11 pass breakups and two forced fumbles, while equaling a career-high single interception and adding 1.5 tackles for loss (-5 yards)
• Played in all 12 games as a 2014 freshman off the bench and contributed 32 tackles, a career-high-tying 1.0 sack (career-high -8 yards), 1.0 tackle for loss and six pass breakups
 
Vic Enwere, RB, 6-0, 245, Missouri City, TX (Fort Bend Austin HS)
• Played in 43 games with five starts and contributed career totals of 1411 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns on the ground on 302 carries, while adding another 18 receptions for 96 yards to total 1507 all-purpose yards
• His 17 career rushing touchdowns are one outside of Cal's all-time top-10 list
• Finished his career as a 2017 senior by playing in all 12 games with two starts and contributing 377 yards rushing and five touchdowns on the ground on 101 carries while adding another five receptions for 37 yards to total 414 all-purpose yards
• Played in six games off the bench before suffering a season-ending injury in the sixth game of the campaign at Oregon State as a 2016 junior, contributing 336 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground on 61 carries while adding another 10 yards on four receptions for 346 all-purpose yards
• Posted all of his single-season rushing career highs as a 2015 sophomore when he played in all 13 games and led the team with eight rushing touchdowns while adding 106 carries for 505 yards to go along with a career-high seven receptions for 31 yards to total a career-high 536 all-purpose yards
• Played in all 12 games off the bench as a 2014 freshman and contributed 193 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground on 34 carries while adding two receptions for 18 yards to total 211 all-purpose yards
