Time And TV Designation Announced For Season-Opening Matchup

BERKELEY – The kickoff time and TV designation for the California football team's season-opener at Oregon State has been announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference, in partnership with the Pac-12 Conference.

The Golden Bears will open the season at Reser Stadium on Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. PT. The game will air nationally on ESPN.

The matchup marks the 78th time the Bears and Beavers have faced one another since the series began 120 years ago. In addition, August's matchup will be the first nonconference matchup between the two programs in Corvallis since 1960.

The Pac-2 getting home games on ESPN is a new one! Last year the ones not on CW went to Fox, looks like it's a new arrangement this year.

Yep, their new deal is with CBS, ESPN, and The CW.
