Nose Guard Fuimaono Has Come a Long Way

As the Bears begin their final preparations for Saturday's season opener at North Carolina, no player has come farther -- literally and figuratively -- than reserve nose guard Siulagisipai Fuimaono.

The 6-4, 295-pound freshman, called "Siu" for obvious reasons,  most recently played for Kadena High School in Okinawa, Japan. That's about 9,000 miles to navigate and a whole lot of names to pass on the depth chart.
