Monday Practice Report: Saffell Out for Year

Starting guard who missed OSU game is done because of injury. Bears prepare to take on Huskies

Following the Bears Monday practice head coach Justin Wilcox announced that sophomore guard Michael Saffell (No. 53 above with Valentino Daltoso) will miss the rest of the season because of an injury. Saffell, who had started the first six games of 2018 at right guard, was not active for the Oregon State game on Saturday.

"I really feel for Mike," Wilcox said. "He loves every bit of this. It's unfortunate, but he'll be back with us in the spring.
