Good second half bears. Terrible first half defense doomed the bears. The defense did seem to find its mojo again in the second half. I'm worried about next week as the injuries piled up.

We had over 130 more total yards. More passing yards. More first downs.

We also had 3 turnovers to 1 for U Dub. That's what killed us.

In just OT, refs award TD when knee is down before he reaches endzone, short spot on Brooks run, missed late hit, and potential target on Tonges and final play.

Just embarrassing. Blew it. Literally handed it to them, multiple times. Waste of 5 hours of life.

I don't know that I would say we played well. Plenty of mistakes on both sides of the ball, and on ST.

Clearly Bears have enough talent to be 4-0 right now.

They are 1-3.

Can't fire the players, so have to fire the coach.

Looking at the stats:
1. Cal outgained UW by over a 100 yards.
2. UW ended up with 19/32 (59%0 for 234 yards passing. For as much as I complained in the first half, that is not a bad performance.
3. One second half penalty by the Bears, much better than the 7 in the first half.
4. Bears had 3.9 yards rushing (thanks to Garbers' 71 and 4.4 ypr [which includes sacks]), UW had 3.1.
5. Garbers 30 of 41 for 319 yards. 2 TD 2 Iint.
6. Botched snap on the field goal from the 20 was a deal breaker.
