Patrick Mahomes took the league by storm in 2018.

So the NFL couldn't wait until Mahomes and Rodgers faced off, which was supposed to happen in 2019.

But Mahomes was out for that game. And the Packers were not expected to play the Chiefs until 2023.

So the NFL created a 17-game schedule. And they devoted the 17th game to the long-awaited Mahomes-Rodgers matchup.

That game was supposed to be played Sunday.

Anyways, this is something that 2021 Rodgers would do -- not 2016 Rodgers.

As for Rodgers, he may be a talented athlete but he is sure is stupid…..

We need to discuss the hankyization of Rodgers.

Rodgers is very careful with his words. He's like the Bill Clinton of NFL Qbs. So he probably intended to be misleading. Then he'll say he was never vaxxed.

He probably meant his fiance's hippie pals immunized him with natural vitamin juice.

That would be an impressive job by the Packers to keep this under wraps all season. All it would of taken was a single leak to create a @@#$ storm, and the Packers sure know how to drop leaks when it suits them.

Disappointed in Rodgers, though. Packers fans might turn on him if this derails the season - status for the Seahawks game is questionable due to the timing.

I'm surprised that the guy who regularly texts Barstool's founder, promotes Bitcoin, is a fan of the Winklevii and Ron Paul and complains about woke/PC/cancel culture would be unvaccinated.

Actually Rodgers is very bright. Sounds like he has had Covid before and studies out of Israel show greater immunity from previous Covid than from vaccines.

The problem is that HE LIED ABOUT HIS STATUS. He knowingly put others at risk, so this is not just a personal decision but one that impacts those around him who are now at further risk.

Further, the NFL does consider people with previous COVID infection and a single dose of Moderna/Pfizer as vaccinated, so if he did have COVID before and got a single shot, he would have qualified. He instead chose to lie/mislead.

EDITED: I've softened this post regarding the NFL's vaccination protocols as it appears that that part may be a little bit more gray (but still have an issue that he was unmasked indoors for press conferences while leading the media in those rooms to believe he was vaccinated).

Indeed, football smart for sure. Smart overall too, always has been, and we know it. He thinks for himself, not a lemming type of guy... If he was vaccinated, I'd feel the same. I (vaxed) don't choose to impose upon others, respect unique situations and choices we have with our bodies, as I have consistently.

In response to a question that specifically asked if he was vaccinated, he said "Yeah, I'm immunized." You can parse that any way you want, but when the question asks if he is vaccinated, and he leads with "Yeah," I'm comfortable calling him a liar.

Here's the video. Note he is asked "Are you vaccinated" and he leads with "yeah," and also intentionally contrasts himself with the unvaccinated. You can parse that any way you want, but I read that as intentionally misleading, which I am comfortable calling lying.

It seems very much like he lied. Says he was 'immunized'. There are only 2 ways to be immunized: vaccine or previous infection.

He never got the vaccine. So his immunization statement suggests he was previously infected. However, we now know that Rodgers petitioned the nfl to get an alternative treatment authorized (probably some hippy shiet like drinking Kale juice) so while it's not conclusive he lied, it seems likely that he did.

It's not a lie but the bigger issue is you also claimed he "HE FAILED TO FOLLOW NFL PROTOCOLS" with no evidence.

Reports now are that the NFL has considered him unvaccinated and so he had to follow protocols for unvaccinated persons.

Does you stating he failed to follow NFL protocols make you a liar? I dunno. I might be comfortable with that.
