4.0 gpa smart as **** david abajian continues to receive significant recruiting interest from some pretty good football programs that are associated with academically mediocre schools for low gpa dumb azzs

abajian got his official trip to berkeley scheduled for june 8-11th, david unofficially visited kansas (his 1st d1 offer) in april plus he's gonna take unofficials to washington state may 25th, oregon state may 26-27th & is also talking to nebraska

clearly abajian wants to keep his options open academically in case he decides to pass on a berkeley degree so he can work his entire life as a supervisor at one of the multitude of truck stops in lincoln, pullman, corvallis or lawrence once his football days are over instead of the cosmopolitan & diverse san francisco bay area which kinda makes a lotta sense

another benefit of wsu, osu, kansas & nebraska is that they got airfares that are 3 times+ as expensive (and impossible to do in a day trip which means significant hotel/rental car costs too) as southwest flights from so cal to oakland on gamedays which means he can focus on his football craft while earning a pretty much worthless degree without the distractions of family & friends inexpensively traveling to see him on gamedays

jb, cal's monster offensive line got 6 starters heading into the summer of 2023 & coach bloesch has made it clear he's gonna play the best trench workers regardless of position so substitutions are gonna be based on talent not positional depth

matthew cindric: the starting center could also slide to guard...spoke with his dad michael & also jack plummer's biological dad at the game in boulder and the mental toughness of both of these bears playing thru unbelievable injuries (they were put in harm's way by billy m & angus) is an untold story that hopefully won't be repeated ever again in berkeley...matthew is the undisputed leader of the trench workers & my fellow haas biz ad grad (he's now completing the 2nd year of an education master's program) is my favorite california golden bear but let's be real here, cindo don't got good hair

sioape vatikani: the 4.0 gpa fellow poly with also a scorpio skies b-day got the most nfl upside of any player in the o-line room, he entered berkeley outta high school as already arguably the strongest player in the room...but in watching every second of cal football live in person last season it wuz incomprehensible how sioape could knock a defender 5 yards off the ball & the next play 100% whiff on even touching a defender while the play got blown up for a loss...yeah vatikani took a lotta plays off last season, honestly think coach bloesch is gonna help him mentally develop into the man we all expect him to become

brian driscoll: the starting left guard could also slide to center to spell cindo if necessary...this remarkable young man whose now leading the cal reading program for kids gotta heart of gold & will someday be an award winning hollywood movie producer...but until then driscoll gotta move his attitude from la jolla to national city for the 2023 season, ok?...a staff member has pointed out to me that he got a couple of unnecessary violence penalties late in the season but the monster still want more conclusive proof of a nasty streak...**** where?

matthew wykoff: my take is that someone is gonna lose their starting job during fall ball to wykoff who started for texas a&m in the sec...yeah the university of calveston era is now underway under the direction of the king of the hill mike bloesch...the 3.75 gpa true student athlete loves the game of football & that's really important (and often under appreciated by fans), his gf avery will always be welcomed in the breezy cali sunshine...this portal addition wuz 100% necessary to ensure a stronger 2023 cal's monster offensive line

and the trench workers gotta couple of immediate impact contenders for playing time in the 2023 season:

trent ramsey: the biggest surprise/riser of 2023 spring ball, he outworked the more acclaimed jtackson brown, spoke to trent & his family on the field during the big game stormin' the field celebration, trust me this guy is focused & not candy azz soft

ender aguilar: the light is starting to come on for the sneaky strong high school tight end, very coachable

martin tine: huge upside but is he just in time with the necessary physical conditioning & academic transition from junior college?

bastian swinney: the most disappointing injury of 2023 spring ball wuz to this vast talent from interlachen high school

also got guys working to improve their craft:

everett johnson: if situational playing time arises (and yeah football is a violent sport with injuries), then big foot is gonna be ready to make a public appearance & knock someone on their azz

dylan jemtegaard: luv this guy, the back up center is a mechanical engineering major & he's gonna make his dad shawn proud as he watches over his family from further afar

nick morrow: arguably more footspeed than any other trench worker, hopefully the misunderstanding with coach johnson re: his ideal playing weight (it's not "285 lbs") is getting resolved thru better communication/clear expectations

mad dog & coach scherbenske are the lead recruiters (actionable offer extended) on 6'5" elite distributor/facilitator/lockdown defender & scorer (knocked down 7 3 pointers vs liberty last january) eric freeny from the state champions centennial high school in corona & the compton magic

with 3 & potentially 4 california golden bear starters outta eligibility after the 2023 season, cal (never visited berkeley in person) unlike ucla (gonna take his 1st official visit to westwood later this month) can legit offer a starting opportunity as a true freshman

and yeah most importantly eric got good hair



the university of california, berkeley=#1 ranked public university in the world (for those that wanna build generational wealth thru both nba development & intellectual capitalism in the classroom as evidenced by jaylen brown's upcoming nba supermax contract of $295,000,000+)

econ, i got zero interest in recruiting rankings which are typically compiled by amateur internet sofa kings that have never actually seen 95% of the players they rate but make no mistake about it the stanford football program is gonna lose 10+ games this season

pauly, ur absolute rite, never gonna criticize nobody for picking cal, stanford or one of the ivy league schools if they r cleared by admissions...that's how you become mentally limitless & build generational wealth in a worldwide economy that unremorsefully favors the well educated

but what's dumb as **** is turning down an actionable offer from cal, stanford & the ivy leagues in order to attend a truck stop school with mediocre academics for low gpa dumb azzs, that's a breaking bad decision process that got 50 year consequences

clean up on aisle 7, get ur azz moving buddy, ur shift not over for another 9 hours

Well not sure which of the following three, or if its a combination of, or all but here are potential reasons why -


A) Furd was always going to recruit well with highly recruited high academic athletes. Unfortunately Furd's academic profile rates higher than ours for many people.

B) Troy Taylor was a sneakly good recruiter at Sac State and is showing his chops now

C) Furd doesnt really do the transfer portal game so they can only focus on HS recruiting. That may benefit them with HS recruits who dont have to worry about a transfer coming in and taking their spot a few years down the line.

Either way whatever reason it is, my conclusion is still the same - F** k Furd!

I just looked up Stanford's class. They're 23rd because they have 13 players committed but none are higher than 3 stars so nothing to be jealous about. I doubt we even have room for 13 players in our whole 2024 high school recruiting class since we'll undoubtedly save a decent amount of space for portal transfers like this year.
