Louisville is good at running the ball and defending the run. Cal is one of the worst in the country at running the ball and defending the run.

If we cannot stop the run and force them to throw, hopefully resulting in some picks, it is going to be a long night. As part of that we need to dial up the creativity on offense early and stick with it, Halfback pass was great and can be used more often. I like the Jet sweeps to DeJesus, though we haven't seen much come from it yet.

Toughest game of the year. If we fall behind and the team gets discouraged it could get ugly.

It is hard to win on the road. So a couple comments regarding the exciting road win last night. Same as the Va Tech game, we had too many illegal motion/offsides penalties on offense with players unable to hear JKS's slap. Why don't we have a silent count in place by now to deal with the crowd noise at away games? 2nd point, nice to see a section of Cal fans at Louisville. Are we such a poverty program that we cannot even afford to send a cheerleading squad to accompany & support the team, and lead the road warriors in cheering? I guess it is just a pipe dream to imagine the Cal Band out there as well...

ucla update: our friends (their checks don't bounce) in westworld are gonna announce on the monday after the usc fiasco that the school is gonna break the lease with the iconic rose bowl (which will alienate a significant # of their old timers, this would be like our home games at memorial stadium moving to that soulless concrete corporate structure in san jose like the 49ers) & move to so fi stadium starting with the 2026 season which means them california golden bears are gonna get another opportunity to redeem ourselves in inglewood in september of 27 (mark my words, there will be more bears fans than bruins fans that day)!!

2025 dp tour abu dhabi championship: 4th round update

michael kim (69, tied for 44th): my favorite legoland high school golfer (sorry trevor, u need to gain some ******* weight, muscle & flexibility to get to the next level in ur development, ur moms & the neighbor 8 year old girl are probably stronger than u) with the kinda funny understatement "that i'm pleased with my putting" after rolling in around 25 birdies this week!!

hopefully tomorrow michael when traveling up the road to dubai will go to the mall for the beyond weird indoor skiing adventure (took shocky & his girls around 30 minutes to get all the ski gear fitted for a 90 second 1000 us dollars slope run) but knowing kim he's gonna scan this wasted land ******* looking for a chipotle in this shangri la beneath the summer moon sure as the dust that blows high in june
