^ 100% east bay but unfortunately the video team don't get to make the gameday offensive play calling decisions to attack the middle 3rd of the field

playing to win (morgan scalley's casino blitz packages vs ucla's sorry azz offensive line)#

kai milner has lost the starting qb job in flagstaff (maybe his dad should call the jacks staff & get them straightened out) & ashton hayes & his moms r heading towards a nation leading #1 lowest yards per rush average in reno

yeah both parents traded their high gpa son's degrees from the #1 ranked public university in the world for a nfl football dream that isn't gonna happen, the destructive ramifications of these non educational decisions will be pretty ******* obvious when both young men turn 30

don't be a dumb azz (parents do the darnedest things)#

also been real busy working with my trainer taj davis (who has earned more gameday snaps as a dynamic wide receiving threat) who tole me recently my post fight reactions r not amped up enuf per the shocky brand so gonna work on that too

no shocky didn't make the trip to the northwest, the game went about as expected against a 2023 playoff team & the most completely competitive program in all phases of the game in the pac 12 ...yeah the monster wanted huff as the offensive coordinator/offensive line coach back in the day but ima happy with the work done by coach bloesch tho spav's failure to attack the middle 3rd of the field is handicapping the offense

to be honest with u, after attending road games forever ima kinda done with the boring azz pac 12 towns/cities with the exception of los angeles, the monster is very excited about the east coast acc roadtrips & the sec battle at auburn in 2024

let's be real here, if more of the bears got a swagger like taj, the jet & shocky that would be a good thing for a team that often reflects the personality of the level emotional state of the head coach which is not even close to fiery

next week is an absolute MUST WIN for the program against the worst team in the pac 12, a victory against the sun devils sets the bears up then with a 3-2 record...that would make the very winnable home game against oregon state (lacking +1 athletes on defense, qb who panics when pressured) the most important game of the coach wilcox 7 year run as another victory would make cal 4-2 with still an opportunity to become a bowl eligible team

r u gonna be at memorial stadium at memorial stadium at noon after ur pregame 32 oz green juice at the 7/11 on ashby???

burnski, markeisha will set an artificially lousy as **** attendance goal for the asu game & then the con artist will brag that the student section is sold out

how the **** is the student section sold out if there are 30,000 empty seats?

without a doubt the most dumb as **** statement in the history of berkeley wuz markeisha's statement that cal wuz receiving a full revenue share from the acc but donating back tens of millions of dollars to strengthen the conference & it's schools

oski's girlfriend, that's not even close to true, james arthur knowlton is one of the highest paid athletic directors in the nation at $1,300,000

and if u consider the fact that as an absentee bureaucrat he's not actually in california most of the year, then his average daily rate for work days on the berkeley campus is truly astronomical

fun fact: the con artist is very serious about his berkeley paychecks for his colorado home flipping family biz

Because we always start Finley if we won the last game starting Jackson? Because Wilcox listens to everyone on this board that doesn't like fast quarterbacks with strong arms and huge upside when we can have a guy that consistently throws more picks than TDs?

proving the marv lewis theorem for game planning against cal:

coach wilcox should have one of the offensive analysts splatter chart every pass this season schemed by billy m

then at the next interview sessions one of the assembled media should ask the head coach, what percentage of this year's passes vertically attack downfield the middle third of the field?

trust me, if marv lewis has figured out the play calling tendencies of the cal football program, other defensive coordinators throughout the pac 12 have also solved this puzzle

don't be a dumb azz (and be predictable)#

the above post wuz made on october 1st, 2022...it wuz true then & it's true today

coach wilcox's conservatism is why the bears don't attack the middle 3rd of the field in the passing game

it's also why there are no pitchouts to jaydn ott thereby allowing him to make electric moves in space, coach is afraid of the pitchout turning into a fumbled live ball turnover

and that's also why the bears usually don't return punts or kickoffs, there are violent collisions that can result in field changing turnovers

who knew justin got tattoos on his neck?

not gonna lie, it really bothered me that with the clock winding down in the 4th quarter with multiple timeouts & the jet pounding the ball downfield that the clock wuz allowed to run out without any attempt to score

They might have been avoiding injuries.

I think the bigger problem is whatever the thought process was behind starting Finley. And playing him after 3 INTs, 2 more that were dropped by the Huskies and a Pick Six called back due to an unnecessary face mask against UDub. All of that in less than 3 quarters. And they were still playing Finley until they quite literally had no choice. Why would you do that? If SJV had that kind of game, he'd probably be in the doghouse the rest of the season. And posters want to see the backup to the backup whose been behind 4 different QBs here. One of whom is Kai Milner as you referenced above? The logic escapes me.

Agree 100% except one thing: Running your lightning fast 175 lb freshman RB into the pile 3 plays in a row is no way to avoid injuries. Get him the ball outside where he can get into the end zone safely untouched.

Calumnus, I understand your point. Yes, but you are risking your 4th string RB who is still eligible for RS. That's better than risking someone higher on the depth chart but I certainly get your logic behind that.

goof, football is a violent sport (which is one of the reasons shocky got zero interest in the nfl, met too many former players with cte & life changing physical surgeries which not only affects the league's disposable gladiators but also their families), players accept that risk

if the bears aren't gonna play to score on every play (and manage the clock accordingly), wut's the point of competing & wut kinda message is being established re: the culture of the program?

not tryna score late in the 4th quarter in seattle wuz very disturbing

Agreed. 57 yards in 3 plays, they cannot stop us….so our coach stops us? I just don't understand that. I don't think three good plays are less safe than three runs up the middle. It was disturbing because it seemed like Wilcox didn't want us to score. Like he was the one calling off the dogs with a big lead.

monster probability of victories in final season of the pac 12:

1st of all it's kinda interesting how ima already following the acc results (and logistically dreaming of future epic football/east coast golf roadtrips in the fall) & honestly not really interested in any of the pac 12 programs other than stanford...yeah we gotta make sure our uber helicopters got maps in order to go all the way up

1) asu: home game at memorial stadium against a struggling program with multiple injured quarterbacks & the worst offensive line in the pac 12, the sun devils will struggle to score against the bears elite defense

2) stanford: the cards also got major quarterback issues & lack playmaking talent on defense, cal fans are already buying palo alto tixs for the november 19th b-day celebration of shocky & max homa as we gonna ******* storm the field again in an epic celebration of our lives as california golden bears on planet earth

3) washington state: home turf in memorial stadium will be a plus the cougs got the most worser rushing offense in the pac 12 as their best running back is averaging 2.3 yards per carry...fully expect coach sirmon's unit to stuff the run game & hopefully dial up the pressure against cameron ward whose game reminds me of my favorite mccoy...the cougs d is decent but not even remotely great

4) ucla: arguably the most overrated team in the nation, only ranked because of the brand reputation not because of their play on the field...bruins got 3 wins against teams that would get their azzs handed to them by idaho...bet...cal's roster of so cal players will be amped playing in front of their families & friends (just like the texas contingent's fun factor of playing in denton, we are the university of calveston) in the bears final game ever against ucla at the rose bowl

5) oregon state: home field advantage could be the difference maker in what promises to be a game of phsyciality, the team with the the key chunk plays will be victorious...this is the worst 16th ranked team in the nation with 3 victories against teams that would also get their azzs handed to them by idaho...fyi the perennial out of shape jermaine terry has caught 1 pass for 4 yards on the season

6) usc: the oppenheimer game at memorial stadium on october 28th will be sold out in the last meeting of usc & california in our lifetimes, the atmosphere will be ******* electric...this will be the most challenging match up of the season against the trojans elite wide receivers vs the bears takers...if the bears win the field stormin' after the game will see the goal posts torn down & dragged down bancroft

7) oregon: the ducks d is not elite, if the bears can generate offense on the road at autzen & remain calm thru the crowd noise then a victory might be possible...this is a school that cheats at every fork in the road, dana altman is a criminal & an absolute piece of **** as a human being on planet earth...**** the ducks

8) washington: this road game next week in seattle will be an excellent barometer of the cal d, is the bears d arguably the best d in the pac 12 or not?...we gonna find out

9) utah: would be a huge plus if the game is not played at nite in freezing azz salt lake city, not gonna miss the road trips to this dumpy backwards azz town with ugly azz architecture...the utes are gonna roll opponents in 2024 as they compete in the big 12, the conference of truck stop skool academics

the california golden bears are 2-1 rite now, the sky is not falling & if u ask shocky where he lives he's gonna point to the hills & tell u to go all the way up...nothing can stop me (except my abject failure to do a handstand which is holding up my plans/major goal of becoming a substitute yoga teacher)

the university of california, berkeley=#1 ranked public university in the world (and excited new member of the east coast acc in 2024)
updated monster probability of victories in final season of the pac 12:

1) stanford: look the stanford & notre dame lobbying efforts on our behalf are the only reason cal got extended an acc invitation, got it?...anybody criticizing either of these 2 elite academic institutions is a dumb azz...tight end benjamin yurosek is a dangerous nfl calibre receiving threat but there's not a lotta +1 athletes on either side of the ball

2) asu: yeah asu defensive coordinator/future nfl of famer marv lewis is not working overtime this week in prepping the sun devils d against "the easiest team in the pac 12 to gameplan against" with coach wilcox's signature preference in not attacking the middle 3rd of the field (or pitching the ball on the edge to jaydn ott thereby allowing our superstar to operate in space) because of his conservative irrational fear of turnovers...despite the worst offensive line in the pac 12, runnings back cameron skattebo & decarlos brooks are running hard in gaining tough yardage...defensively the real question is coach sirmon gonna dial up the heat on the moderately skilled starting qb drew pyne?...last year in south bend peter opted to scheme break not bend which allowed pyne (who at that point had never played a down of college football) to eventually get into a rhythm & eventually make a couple of plays to lead the irish to a victory over the bears...that's not how morgan scalley would game planned it with the bears d talent...bet

3) oregon state: home field advantage for the bears in 2 weeks against a team that lacks +1 athletes on d & a qb who makes bad decisions when under pressure...the beavs got the 2nd best offensive line in the pac 12 after washington & running back damien martinez (432 yards) gotta relentless non stop motor

4) ucla: very winnable game at the rose bowl in what is likely the final game for a long time between these 2 uc flagships schools...after the last couple of seasons it's absolutely shocking the lack of high end offensive speed for the bruins, the running backs, tight ends & wide receivers (including j-mike) are not +1 athletic high twitch explosive playmakers

5) washington state: qb cameron ward is the real deal but the cougars are 1 dimensional with the worst run game in the pac 12...the d is undersized & plays hard...the home field at memorial stadium could be the difference maker on november 11th, r u gonna b there?

6) usc: throw out the records, the oppenheimer game on october 28th at memorial stadium is gonna be ******* lit!

7) utah: the utes offensive without cameron rising (will he be healthy by the time cal goes to salt lake city on october 14th?) is actually kinda mediocre but morgan scalley is the most fired up & effective defensive coordinator in the western united states

8) oregon: the ducks are rolling right now & autzen is the toughest venue in the pac 12 for visitors

a cal victory against asu this saturday at noon at memorial stadium gets the bears to 3-2 thereby setting up a very winnable home game against oregon state the following week to move to 4-2 & get the program into position to become potentially bowl eligible

r u gonna b in berkeley this saturday?...shocky is gonna be on the ground in nor cal for only 9 hours in order to watch homakawa compete in the 2023 ryder cup

watching cal football on tv is for losers (plus who wanna pass up a hare endorsed go! smart cold organic pressed green juice at the 7/11 on ashby?...and no buying a snickers, some marlboros & a couple of lottery tixs too along with the juice is not a smart yogi move)#

This is who Wilcox is. He showed it to us right away when he gave up against Arizona in OT his first season. I went nuclear calling for him to be fired right then and there. He does not value wins. He will not scratch and claw and do whatever it takes to get them. Period.

And for people trotting out the totally inapplicable "sportsmanship" card, go back and watch the game again. Look at Penix and Odunze taunting our DBs after TDs while the lights are dimmed. There's no place for manners on a football field. Get over it.

mr silverleaf sun angel update: asu's heavily injured offensive line gave up 8 sacks against usc that also resulted in an interception & fumble by qb drew pyne (who got 4 interceptions against fresno state the previous week under pressure)

complicating matters is that devils offensive line coach saga tuitele is not with the program, it's being called publicly "health issues" but there's a backstory (also with beau being relieved of play calling duties by dilly) there that can't be shared right now

coach sirmon needs to dial up the morgan scalley casino blitzing packages & less shoney's bend but don't break at the waistline d this saturday at noon at memorial stadium...r u gonna b there to see how this plays out???
