shocky's 1a offensive coordinator preferred candidate:
with dynamic offensive fireworks at every stop on the bay area native's resume, nick rolovich would be a homerun hire & as he's already currently coaching at stinson beach high school he would be ready to hit the ground running with a FREE richmond bridge commuter pass
nick grew up in novato, wuz a jc all american qb at san francisco city college & set passing records at hawaii...in his coaching career he wuz the head coach at both hawaii & washington state (mentored the cougs qb coach craig stutzmann) during which his qbs passed for intergalactic yardages
last season rolo consulted on the bears offense when things went sideways with spav, he's already familiar with the staff & much of the offensive player personnel
this decision should be about winning football games on a football field with a football, NOT political views
roll on u rollo's!!
I would be thrilled with a Rolo hire!
Any ideas why he is coaching HS and not already coaching in college somewhere? Blacklisted?
It was COVID and his right-wing politics and Anti-Black political position and hypocrisy (I have rights but you don't) caught on tape. Didn't pass in Eastern Washington, but people here think it will pass in Berkeley?

According to Kassidy Woods' lawsuit:
"Rolovich's acts were racist, intentional, malicious, willful, wanton, and in gross and reckless disregard of Woods' constitutional rights," the lawsuit said and contended Woods had a recorded phone conversation to prove it."
Did you really attend Cal? Because believing/adopting allegations in a lawsuit as "the truth" is pretty ill informed. If I file a lawsuit calling you a racist, or a nazi, or a communist, or a pedophile, does that make it true?
The irony is that if Woods did record a conversation (and the NY Times article you linked to indicates he did), then it was Woods who broke the law.
Meanwhile, Rolovich coached a lot of places and was well liked by his players. Including Jaylen Watson, Calvin Jackson Jr., Calvin Jackson Jr., Renard Bell, and Tay Martin (all of whom I believe are African American)

What does that tell you? It is possible Rolovich mistreated Woods. But if so, there is no evidence it was because he was Black. If there was such evidence, the lawsuit would not have been dismissed w/o a settlement.
I hope Cal hires Rolovich because he's a good coach with a proven track record and there is no evidence he's a bad person (in fact there's lots of evidence to the contrary).
