I was re-watching the Cal Texas 2015 game, and the broadcast team was talking about how Mack Brown knew his job would be in jeopardy if the Texas stadium was not full. They then talked about how the new interim AD at Texas said the disconnect between the school and the fans / boosters was because the game day experience had become too corporate.

Oh how we can learn from the past!
