O-line needs to play much better. That's the second time that Mendoza was sacked by a defender coming unblocked up the middle. Furds also have four tackles for loss on running backs in the Cal backfield.
That hole for that furd LB to run through was bigger than my garage door opening.

Why would we ever ever ever run an empty backfield when we have a back like Ott? Its SHORT YARDAGE and we take away the rushing threat...we've done that on back to back drives now...

Exactly.. especially in a short yardage situation.
